If you're looking to save money and don't require a stroller that doubles up as a car seat carrier the Babyzen Yoyo is a good option. It comes with a simple one-step foot brake that's flip flop user-friendly.

It's also a breeze to push and feels solid when you're navigating kerbs and woodland paths. Plus, it's a dream to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned a reputation as the most stroller that is lightweight, suitable for city dwellers as jet-setters. This is thanks to its nimble maneuverability and fold which fits in the overhead luggage of an aeroplane. The most recent version features independent suspension on all four wheels, made of Hytrel Elastomer, which allows it to effortlessly navigate through all kinds of surfaces and terrain'.

The bent fabric bassinet, the base YOYO2 frame and 6+ months colour pack combine to create a chic pushchair with a delicate elegant design. The frame itself weighs just under a kilo and is so light that you can easily lift it from the box (and do it using one hand).

The hood, for instance, snaps on the YOYO2 in a reassuring manner. It's also machine washable up to 30 degrees which helps avoid the stains that result from smushed rice cakes and carrot puffs. The Newborn Pack and bassinet can be used from birth as prams. It can also be transformed to a stroller by 6 months with the YOYO connect to additional chassis.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

The Evenflo Pivot Xplore is a great choice for parents who are looking for a versatile stroller wagon. It transforms from a stroller to wagon by simply turning the handle, meaning parents can pick which mode they prefer on their journey. The wagon is able to accommodate two or three children ranging from 6 months to 5 years old. It comes with a large storage basket that can accommodate all your needs on the go.

The Xplore also comes with two canopies that move from front to back, providing ample sun coverage for all family members. It has a smaller footwell than some wagons. This may not be suitable for long journeys or naps.

The frame on the Xplore feels sturdy and solid however it doesn't have as much flexibility as other wagons we tested. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold, and does not lock tightly after folding. It is easy to move however, and is able to fit through narrow 28 inches doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side by Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great option for parents looking for a second stroller that is affordable. It scored highly in our Strollers and Multiples Test for weight and folded dimensions, which means it's lightweight and compact when folded and easy to move and store in a trunk for your car. It also offers the option of reclining in multiple positions and a parent cup holder. Other key features include 360-degree shock-absorbing front wheels and two large hanging storage bags.

It did better in our push and turn test than most of the strollers we tested but is still difficult to maneuver over uneven terrain or through narrow doors. The sunshades it has were among the tiniest of strollers we tested. They only cover the top, and don't have windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a much larger canopy.

It took us just under 3 minutes to assemble the Delta with a manual. All of the components required tools. It's lacking certain features we consider essential in a double stroller. This includes an extra-large basket, reclining seats, and adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is Maxi-Cosi's latest pushchair and is marketed as a travel system for urban use. It is really easy to maneuver and the one-hand recline of the seat as well as the super large shopping basket make it simple for parent-tots to get the child in and out quickly. Despite this being quite a narrow pushchair it handled the bumps of everyday life well and went through doorways without a hitch.

The front wheels can be locked in an forward position or allow them to swivel which is helpful when traversing rough terrain. We allowed the front wheels to swivel while walking along a stony path. It handled this reasonably well, although it seemed slightly bumpier.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is a household name for their all-terrain, 3-wheeler jogging pushchairs, but they also have a wide assortment of strollers with four wheels. The City Tour 2 is one of their most popular models. It folds easily and fits easily in the trunk of a car even with a carrycot attached.

It's a little heavier than the other strollers we tested however the wheels are made of rubber composite so it feels well-made and durable. It is easy to maneuver on different terrains and even with two children as well as a shopping bag and other items.

The carrycot and the seat both have hoods with pull-down sun canopy extensions that are UV50+. They are sturdy and waterproof, in contrast to other hoods for prams that can be blown back onto toddlers' faces.

It's not a lot of storage space, but it comes with a large basket deep enough to hold a changing bag or a large amount of groceries. It can also be connected with the Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a traveling system for infants up to 20 pounds (car seat and adapters are sold separately). It folds automatically and locks in just four steps. It is also able to stand and be rolled around for easier transportation in the trunk of your car or down the stairs at home. The travel system is available with the option of adding an additional car seat or carrycot by using the adaptors included. The brakes are simple to use, using a single umbrella stroller colored and flip-flop-friendly.

7. Babyzen Duet

This budget-friendly pushchair is simple to use and has an excellent dual suspension. It folds using just one hand, and comes with a handy carrying strap. It's also super lightweight and sturdy. The seat can be reclined to many different positions. It also comes with a double breathable mattress that's suitable for babies.

The canopy/seat has two large sun visors, which can be either fixed or flipped out. Both are UPF50+. However the toggle closure isn't great it's not as quiet as Velcro and can wake sleepy babies.

The Duet is a angled stroller that can accommodate twins or siblings. (Up to 22kg per seat). It can be used with two infant car single seat stroller and some carrycots. In twin-mode, the seats can be positioned to face one another or be turned around to face the parents, theoretically decreasing sibling disputes over who gets to sit with dad and mom. It comes with a large gear tray, bottle holder snack tray, and an adjustable mat. It also comes with a folding stand that folds down and a frame lock.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2

The Thule Urban glide 2 is the perfect stroller for parents who like to be active. It's among the lightest running strollers that you can purchase for your child. It comes with amazing safety features, including a 5-point harness as well as a safety wrist strap. It also features a twist hand brake which is different than the lever type found on competing models.

The seat is well-padded and has plenty of room to sit in, but the seat's depth is less than other joggers we've tried (it's about 10"). The storage bin is equipped with an open-top cover that can be closed to keep items secure. It can hold up to 10 lbs that is enough for most diaper bags.
