Locations

The Exam Schedule lists the locations in which DEP conducts operator qualification exams. Please consult individual exam pages for additional guidelines, conditions and guidelines and exam information. Registration

Students are advised to check the exam schedule online. However it is important to note that the final exam schedule could be altered at any time. For this reason, students should check with their instructors to ensure that they have the correct date and time for their test. Students should also print the official list to take with them to their exam.

Students must also familiarize themselves with the rules and conditions of the exam, in addition to the exam schedule. These are on the webpage for each exam. Upon registration, students acknowledge that they accept these terms and conditions.

Exam sites make every effort to accommodate those with special needs. The nature and the extent of these needs should be noted on the registration and verified by a doctor's attestation. In addition the locations for the exam must be kept confidential.

If a student has three exams scheduled on the same day, it is suggested to contact their department or instructor to arrange a make-up exam. While it is possible to take three tests in a single day, it could result in high stress levels and could impact the quality of the exam. Additionally, the professor might not be able to conduct a makeup test on a different day.

Students must review their course materials prior to taking the exam and practice their German skills. The exam is a paper-based test that measures the ability to speak, read and write in German. The results of the exam are reported on a scale of egzaminowanie kategorii a1 to C2. Students who pass the test are awarded the Goethe-Zertifikat. The certificate demonstrates the achievement of language level A1. This level corresponds with the first level of the six-level scale of competence that is outlined in the Common European Framework of Reference for Foreign Languages. The exam is free. Students must bring a valid government-issued ID to the test. If they do not present an acceptable photo ID are disqualified from the exam.

Fees

If you have completed your studies at Elan Academy and wish to be awarded a Goethe-Zertifikat A1 (start German 1), you'll need to pay the examination fee. This is in addition to the course fees.

Practice tests allow you to get a feel for the style, wording, and difficulty of the questions on the test. They allow you to assess your knowledge, spot gaps and improve your chances of passing the test.

Please be aware that the fee for exams is not refundable. Exam results can only by sent via email and not by phone.
