French Door Refrigerator With Ice Maker Review

Melding form with functionality, French-door refrigerators have stylish double doors that open to a spacious fridge up the top and a freezer drawer below. Special features such as through-the-door dispensers, ice machines with higher-end features, and customizable flex drawers make them stand out from the rest.

We asked Ladina Schopf - interior designer, architect and founder of LS Projects - for her advice on how to choose the best one. They considered storage capacity, layout and energy efficiency, among other features.

GE Profile Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

But these flourishes don't mask mediocre performance, especially in the refrigerator's freezer and an ineffective temperature-controlled drawer. Since this refrigerator is more, I'd expect better.

This fridge is a great option, despite the slight blip. It has a huge freezer compartment which is uncommon for counter-depth French-door refrigerators. It also has a large capacity for frozen food items compared to other models.

Inside the fridge, there are 17 shelves and compartments. The refrigerator compartment is 18.5 cubic feet, which is typical for a fridge with a french door fridge sale melbourne door at this price. It has a decent sized icemaker in the left door. However it's not the biggest one I've seen.

You can alter the shelves in both compartments to make the perfect storage solution. The interior design of the GE PYE22PYNFS is stylish, too. The app is available for iOS and Android devices and allows you to control your refrigerator from anywhere around the world. It also offers numerous options for customizing. It also gives you notifications when a door is left open, when your fridge or freezer needs defrosting and when it's time to change the filter.

It is nice if the GE PYE22PYNFS had Precise Fill which is an option that is available in other GE fridges that allow you to preset how many cups of water you'd like to dispense at once. The LG LRFLC2706S is a great counter-depth refrigerator that packs plenty of storage into a compact frame. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. Inside, the refrigerator has the standard french door fridge width-door layout, with gallon-sized bins for the doors on each door as well as two rows of shelves for spill-capture and a set crisper drawers. The upper right shelf can be folded down to give taller items more room. There's also a full-width storage drawer for food items and an internal water dispenser.

One of the great features of this refrigerator is that its Ice maker is located in the freezer, which makes it easy to move ice into the fridge to use as required. The freezer is designed with thoughtful elements, as well, such as sliding drawers that can help you better organize the placement of items. It comes with a large bin for storing frozen food and a separate container for ice.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The exterior of the Frigidaire is made from grey-bodied stainless that has a "smudge resistant" finish. It blocks streaks and fingerprints better than other stainless steel finishes I've tried.
