Persib Bandung has officially unveiled their squad for the BRI Liga 1 2024/2025 season. Thirty players were presented during the Pesta Rakyat Persib event at GOR C-Tra Arena, Bandung, on Sunday, August 4, 2024. During the launch event, five new players were presented to the Bobotoh supporters. The new signings include Mateo Kocijan, Dimas Drajad, Adam Alis, Gustavo Franca, and Mailson Lima. For this season, Persib will not only compete in BRI Liga 1 but will also participate in the AFC Champions League 2 after winning the BRI Liga 1 title last season. In addition to introducing the full squad for the 2024/2025 season, Persib Bandung also revealed the jersey numbers for the players and the team's new jerseys. Bojan Hodak is a Croatian football coach currently managing Persib Bandung. He was born on May 4, 1971, in Zagreb, Yugoslavia (now Croatia). With extensive experience in various leagues, particularly in Southeast Asia, Hodak brings a distinctive coaching style and an impressive track record. Before taking charge of Persib and leading Maung Bandung to the Liga 1 title in the 2023/2024 season, Hodak gained experience with various clubs, including Kelantan FC, Johor Darul Ta'zim, PSM Makassar, and Kuala Lumpur City. He also served as the coach of the Malaysia U-19 national team. Hodak is recognized for his disciplined coaching style and clear tactical philosophy. He frequently uses a 4-4-2 formation and places a strong emphasis on organized play. Hodak is also known for maintaining a close relationship with his players, including Persib’s young talents.

Persebaya Surabaya (4-3-3): Ernando Ari; Arief Catur, Kadek Raditya, Slavko Damjanovic, Mikael Tata; Gilson Costa, Mohammed Rashid, Francisco Rivera; Malik Risaldi, Flavio Silva, Bruno Moreira. Manager: Paul Munster.

Compared to the previous season, Persija Jakarta has made few changes to their squad. Key players like Hanif Sjahbandi and Syahrian Abimanyu, who were rumored to be transferring, chose to remain. Marko Simic and Gustavo Almeida have also stayed with the team. The team has lost two senior players, Maman Abdulrahman and Tony Sucipto. Nevertheless, other experienced players such as Andritany Ardhiyasa and Riko Simanjuntak are still around to lead the team. The club has also promoted young talents to the first team. Following the previous generation led by Dony Tri Pamungkas, the new 16-year-old talent Zahabi Gholy has been introduced. Zahabi Gholy made his debut in the Piala Presiden 2024. While there haven't been many changes in player composition, Persija Jakarta has made a significant shift in their coaching staff. Thomas Doll is no longer with the team, and Carlos Pena, from Spain, has been appointed as the new head coach. Pena is expected to build a more solid team and improve on their Piala Presiden 2024 performance. Additionally, there has been a change in team captaincy. For the 2024/2025 season, the captaincy has been taken over by Rizky Ridho from Andritany Ardhiyasa.
