The robot maps your home, and then creates a cleaning schedule by using the GPS on your phone. You can specify rooms and zones. You can manually start a clean at any time using the onboard buttons, or the app.

Our test participants discovered that the E10S was efficient in removing most dirt and debris, with a few minor exceptions. It had trouble getting into tight corners and was not able to clean up some sticky spills. The mopping capabilities are limited to one mop pad at the back of the machine, and it's not always able to lift it when it's laid on a surface like flooring made of wood or carpet.

The E10S is a beautiful well-engineered, easy to use robot. The base station is elegant and is easy to use. It has a perspex front that allows you to see when it's time to empty. It has an easy-to-use ledge that allows it to stand on its own when placed on a flat surface. Dyson Detect

Famous for its TikTok-inspired hairstylers, space-themed air purifiers, and cord-free high-tech vacuums, Dyson has now also entered the world of mopping with motors. The V15s Detect Submarine is a vacuum cleaner and mop that can be used on hard floors. It also has three power levels, as well as a hygienic bin emptying system that keeps debris in place until it can be disposed of.

Another handy feature is the V15s Detect's intelligent LCD screen that shows the current mode you're in ('Auto Eco,' 'Auto,' and 'Boost'), how much battery life is left and a precise graph that reveals exactly what you're consuming from huge chunks of dirt to tiny skin flakes and allergens. You can even set a timer to remind you to empty the dust canister frequently and is an excellent way to cut down on the chance of a spillage.

It's also simple to use. After a full recharge, the V15s Detect will take just 4.5 hours to reach 100% runtime. Simply attach the attachments you prefer and press the mode button to begin cleaning. The LEDs will change to green on the front to confirm that all the dirt has been removed.

One aspect that is polarizing about this vacuum is its trigger-operated off/on system which some people find difficult for long cleaning sessions. Dyson has addressed this issue in the later models, using an on/off button and a larger bin size. This is a good idea considering how much debris the vacuum can take in. Shark is a popular vacuum manufacturer and produces some of best robot vacuum bagless robot vacuums available. Its AV911S Z is designed to compete with the top brands like the Roomba i7+. This robot vacuum addresses many of the problems that cause problems for other models by incorporating self-emptying capabilities and providing more maneuverability. It also charges quicker and has lower recurring costs.

It's easy to set up this robot straight out of the package. It is all you need to do is attach the two side brushes in place and then place the docking station on the mat provided. It's easy to use, too it allows you to start the process, stop it, and then return it to dock using buttons on its top and through its companion app. It also has the ability to connect to Alexa or Google Home devices if you prefer using voice commands to control it.

During our testing the AV911S EZ demonstrated impressive suction capabilities and efficient mapping abilities. It's small enough to fit under most tables and couches and can be returned to areas in need of additional cleaning. It has a difficult time removing obstructions that are low in elevation, though, such as electrical cords.

The EZ Robot has a number smart features that make it easier to maintain and use such as automatic emptying. It also comes with a specialized odor-neutralizer. It is also easy to pair with Alexa or Google Home devices, if you prefer using your smartphone to control it using voice commands. The SharkClean companion app is loaded with features, but it's not user-friendly and is susceptible to freezing. The app can be used to change the suction power mode, command the vac to resume cleaning or return to the dock, set up cleaning sessions, check the vac's charging status and check its maintenance history, and set up push notifications. You'll need an 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection to utilize it. The IQ Robot is equipped with physical control buttons, which allow you to change modes or stop the operation by pressing the Clean button in purple. It also comes with a Find Robot button that will locate it in case it gets lost.
