The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great option for those looking for an affordable mop and robot vacuum. It provides a fantastic mopping experience but lacks the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

In the course of testing, it was able to handle dust and dry oats on medium-pile carpet and pet hair on hard flooring. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't use LIDAR to help you map your home.

1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It is loaded with features and impressive cleaning power, including the dirt compartment built into the charging base. It can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automatic schedules for a truly hands-free experience.

It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning process at the touch of a button. You can opt for an overall clean that focuses on the removal of large debris such as cereal and rice, or opt for two thorough maps of your area to ensure that your entire home has a clean and tidy appearance.

This robot vacuum cleaner with mop vacuum performs well on both floors that are bare and carpets with low pile. It sucks up large items and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as other models do, and it can even remove pet hair with ease. It's not able to work with plush or high-pile carpets, but iRobot claims that future models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that concentrates on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba that adopts flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes that this will allow it to be able to hug the furniture and walls. It's a significant improvement over hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are standard however we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ has a superior filtering system that blocks microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. We like the statement but not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors to remember the structure of your home, and vSLAM to map the interior. It then cleans your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, as well as create virtual boundary markers, so it knows to avoid areas that require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

The app is adept at nagging you only when something needs attention, such as the clean water tank running low or a scheduled vacuuming session being cancelled because of a full dust bin.

This model is also more efficient than the X1, as it charges faster and can handle a complete cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet on one charge. And it has a larger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris and is easier to empty it when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that works even when you're not at home. It also comes with a smart routing feature that allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home, instead of following a set path.

The X2 Omni is the top robot for mopping. Its rotating mop pads clean tough stains and its motor produces a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent too and it increases suction when it detects carpet to ensure it's doing a thorough job. It comes with a huge, rechargeable battery that lasts up to seven days. The mopping feature of the robot is also powerful.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium mop and vacuum robot that comes with a host of convenience features that you don't often see on robots in this price range. It can build precise floor maps, recognize various flooring types and is among the few to automatically wash and dry the mop pads. But while these functions are great however, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the luxury category and could mean it's somewhat more expensive than the average homeowner require.

It is designed to look like a contemporary floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish that's enhanced by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine features an impressive bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner while moving around your home. In the pane in the front is an additional navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, you'll find one button that basically acts as an on/off switch. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, and clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The circular menu located in the middle of the control panel lets users to select cleaning options as well as schedules and preferences. However, it wasn't quite as effective in removing sand from the floor, or quaker oats on the carpet.
