Which Lightweight Double Pushchair Should You Buy?

It's easy to move around with a lightweight double pushchair, especially if you have kids with different age groups. They are easy to fold, steer and carry up and down the stairs.

Tandem

While side-by-side models are best lightweight double stroller suited to siblings of similar ages, tandem lightweight double strollers have distinct appeals. Tandem strollers that are lightweight generally have a more precise turning compared to side-by-side models. However, they could be more difficult to drive on uneven surfaces and curbs. They are also slower to accelerate and more heavy to move. This can put stress on your back.

Another alternative is a convertible double buggy which is initially a single and then you add adapters to turn it into a double. They can include a second seat, carrycot, or both in the front. The children can be seated together. Some have the option of adding a buggyboard, which helps an older child keep pace with a younger brother or sister.
