Volvo Key Fob Troubleshooting

Volvo drivers are enthralled by the remote control features of their key fob. With a smartphone app they can lock and unlock the car, start the engine, and even locate it.

Unlocking the Doors

If you still can't locate the button, search the newly revealed manual key access to see if there is a hidden slot or lever.

Close the Windows

Turning off the Alarm

Modern key fobs offer many advantages over a conventional mechanical car key. However, they don't work in a perfect way for a long time, and their batteries can eventually die. You can try programming your key fob at your home if you are in a hurry or don't have time to visit the store.

Find a clean work surface and lay out your key fob, battery, as well as any additional keys.
