If you're looking to save money and don't require a stroller that can double into a car seat carrier the Babyzen Yoyo is a good option. It comes with a simple one-step foot brake that's flip flop comfortable.

It's also a breeze to push and feels solid in navigating kerbs or woodland paths. It's also a breeze to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned itself a reputation for being the ultimate stroller that is lightweight, suitable for city dwellers as well as jet-setters. This is due to its super nimble maneuverability and fold-down design that can be incorporated into the overhead baggage of an aircraft. Evenflo Pivot Xplore stroller wagon is an excellent choice for parents seeking an adaptable stroller. It transforms from a stroller to a wagon by simply turning the handle, meaning parents can select which mode they prefer on their journey. The wagon can hold one or two kids from 6 months up to 5 years old, and it comes with a large storage basket for all of your on-the-go needs.

The Xplore also features dual canopies that move from the front to the back, offering ample sun coverage for all family members. It has a smaller footprint than other wagons. This may not be suitable for long journeys or naps.

The frame on the Xplore feels sturdy and solid, although it does not have the same flex as some of the other wagons we tried. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold, and it isn't able to lock securely when folded. It is easy to maneuver, though, and it is able to fit through narrow 28 inches doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This bare-bones double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent option for parents seeking a budget-friendly secondary travel stroller. It was awarded an impressive score in our Strollers and Multiples test for weight and folded size that means it's light, compact when folded and easy to lift into a car trunk or closet. It also comes with a multi-position reclining seat and an adult cup holder. Other important features include 360-degree shock absorbing front wheels and two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling.

In our push and turn test, it did better than most of the other strollers of a similar price we test, but it's not the easiest to maneuver over uneven ground or through narrow doors. The sunshades it has are among the smallest we tested, offering only direct overhead coverage and no peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a much larger canopy.

It took us just under three minutes to put together the Delta with a standard manual. The parts are all non-required and required tools. However, it is missing some essential features we believe it is important to consider as non-negotiable features in a double stroller, such as an extra-large basket and reclining seats that have adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The front wheels can be locked in forward positions or let them swivel which is helpful when traversing rough terrain. When we walked along the stony path we allowed them to swivel and it did this quite well although it did seem more bumpy than the other models in our test.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is a household name for their 3-wheeler, all-terrain Jogging pushchairs, however they also offer a great assortment of strollers with four wheels. The City Tour 2 is one of their most loved models. It is simple to use and folds small enough to fit into a car boot even with the carrycot attached.

It is heavier than the other strollers we've tried, but because it has rubber composite wheels it feels sturdy and well-constructed. It is easy to maneuver on various terrains and even with two children, a shopping bag and other items.

The seat and carrycot both have hoods that can be pulled down to reveal sun canopy extensions that are UV50+. They are waterproof and strong, unlike some other prams' hoods that get bounced back into toddlers faces.

It's not a lot of storage space, but it comes with a large basket deep enough to hold a changing bag or plenty of food. You can also connect it with the Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a traveling system for babies up to 20 pounds (car seat and adapters are sold separately). If you are looking for a stroller that can be used on the road, then the City Tour 2 is an excellent option.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

Nuna Mixx was an infant stroller that captivated the hearts of a large number of parents when it first debuted. It's an aluminium framed stroller that will see you through your baby's early days and beyond. It comes with a variety of stand-out features including the possibility of flipping the seat to be parent-facing and world-facing, a huge UPF 50+ canopy with an eye-shade that flips out and a spacious basket as well as an adjustable handlebar.

The chassis comes with a suspension system built-in that reduces the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are constructed from tough foam and minimise punctures. It was simple to push, and our tester was able to maneuver the vehicle through tight streets.

It folds in four simple steps and locks automatically without fuss. It can also stand and be carried by trolley for easier transport in the car's boot or down the stairs at home. The canopy/seat comes with two large sun visors, which can be fixed or removed. Both are UPF50+. However the toggle closure isn't great - it's not as silent as Velcro and may wake napping babies.

The Duet is an angled stroller that can be used for twins or siblings. (Up to 22kg per seat). It's compatible with two infant car seats and can be used with carrycots. In twin mode, the seats can be placed so that they face each other. They can also be oriented to face the parents. This should reduce sibling arguments about who sits with mom and dad. It comes with a big gear tray as well as a bottle holder and snack trays. It also comes with a compact stand fold, and an automatic frame lock.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2

The Thule Urban glide 2 is the ideal jogger for parents that like to be active. It is one of the lightest strollers that you can purchase for your child. The Urban Glide 2 isn't compatible with bassinets for infants or car seats in the way it is, however you can use it from the beginning by purchasing adapters for the majority of seats made by brands such as BOB, Graco, Combi, Evenflo, Britax, and UPPAbaby. It is easy to fold and assemble within 5-10 minutes, without tools. The user manual is easy to read and comes in a variety of languages.
