The frame of the Xplore feels sturdy and solid but it doesn't have the same flex as some of the other wagons we have tested. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold, and does not lock tightly once folded. It is easy to move however, and is able to fit through narrow 28 inches doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This bare-bones double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent option for parents who want a budget-friendly secondary travel stroller. It scored well in our Strollers and Multiples Test for its weight and folded dimensions, meaning it is lightweight and compact when folded and easy to carry and put into a car trunk. It also offers the option of reclining in multiple positions and a cup holder for the parent. Other features of note include 360-degree shock-absorbing front wheels and two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling.

It did better in our push and turn test than a lot of the strollers we tested, but it is nonetheless difficult to maneuver on uneven ground or through narrow doors. The sunshades are among the ones we tested the smallest, providing only a direct overhead coverage and no peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a more extensive canopy.

The Delta took us just over 3 minutes to put together using an average manual and no components required tools. It's lacking some features that we consider essential for double strollers. They include a large basket, reclining seats and adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

It's a breeze to maneuver, and the one-hand recline of the seat as well as the super large shopping basket make it simple for parent-tots to get the child in and out quickly. This narrow pushchair handled all day bumps and doorways easily.

The front wheels can be locked in an forward position or let them swivel which helps when covering rough terrain. We let the front wheels to rotate while walking along a stony path. It handled this reasonably well, although it seemed to be a bit bumpier.
