Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1 - Combos That Are Easy to Use

Certain models are difficult to remove or attach from the base. The Doona Combo requires a two step attachment process, and straps which cover the bottom of the infant carrier. It's tempting to skip the steps however it could result in unsafe results.

In the same way some models are hard to fold away and store and store away, making them less convenient than others. The Graco FastAction 3-in-1 Car Seat Stroller, for instance, is hard to fold due to its huge dimensions and bulky frame. The model also has a tiny canopy, which some users find to be disappointing. We've seen some combinations that can only be joined or disengaged using straps which could seem like an extra step and make it harder for parents to secure the car seat correctly.

The only downside is that they're quite heavy and it can be difficult to lift them up when carrying a child in a car seat.

Easy to Assemble

Some stroller and car seat combinations are difficult to put together. We discovered that the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo was one of the most simple to put together, and it even includes a handy quick-start guide which makes putting this system together easy. Other models, including the UPPAbaby Minu and UPPAbaby Vista v2, Thule urban Glide 2 and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal were also easy to assemble. However the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo is difficult to put together because it requires two steps - attaching the lower anchors, and using straps that are placed over the bottom of the carrier. It's also heavy, so it takes two hands to secure the carrier into the base, then detach it from the base.

In our tests, we took just 5 minutes to put together the UPPAbaby v2 Cruz. This is a quick process when you consider the time saved by not having to take out all the pieces. The toddler seat can be slid into and detached easily on most of these models.
