Best Robot Vacuums and Mop Combos

A robot vacuum is a great tool to maintain a clean home. It can remove pet hair, dust and other surface debris before it causes a bigger problem.

1. iRobot s8

This smart robot vacuum and mop combination is an excellent option for a wide range of homes. It has a great navigation system that incorporates GPS and laser sensors. 2. Eufy RoboVac X8 Hybrid

Eufy is owned by Anker is now an established brand in the world of budget robot vacuums. But it didn't offer a model that could also mop. The X8 Hybrid is a new model that has a wide range of features that are advanced and can compete with more expensive models.

The main selling point of Eufy's this machine is its laser navigation. The X8 uses a laser mapping system that is more precise than previous Eufy devices. There's a basic mopping mode which uses the same water tank as the vacuuming. This is ideal for spills that are not too serious, but you can't limit the amount of water it consumes. That said, it does an admirable job of picking up pet hair, with a higher pickup rate than the Roborock S7.

3. Miele RX2

Miele's RX2 robotic vacuum is renowned for its quiet, effective appliances. It features a stunning design, excellent navigation and a powerful cleaning power. But it has a few operational oddities which prevent it from being considered as the best overall smart robot vacuum.

The RX2 is equipped with a dual-sensor mapping technology which uses LIDAR to map an area as well as a pair of 3D scanning cameras to detect and avoiding obstacles (such as furniture legs or pet waste). Once the room has been defined, you can assign virtual no go areas and favorite sections to the robot. You can also manually change cleaning options, begin a manual clean, or view live feeds of the cameras onboard from the main screen.

The RX2 has excellent sensors that detect furniture and other obstructions instantly. Its sweeping and suction powers are outstanding, effectively removing surface litter from medium pile carpeting and also removing embedded dust on bare floors.
