Different types of single buggies

A buggy that is lightweight is an ideal choice for parents who frequently travel and use public transport, or plan on going on vacation with their child. They are usually less than 6kg and fold up compactly, meaning they can be carried easily in overhead luggage compartments of flights. They are also easy to maneuver and are ideal for city travel. Many come with sunshade and raincover that are worth the investment to keep your baby happy at any time!

A jogger buggy is equipped with large BMX wheels and is made to exercise. It also has good suspension, to absorb the bounces and bumps of off-road use. Jogger buggies can be difficult to steer because the front wheel may rotate, which is why it's crucial to lock it when you are mounting road kerbs and crossing roads.

Some single buggies can be adjustable which allows the seat to face either forwards or backwards (known as a parent-facing). A single buggy purchase

A new buggy is an expensive purchase. Most pushchair packages that include bassinets for babies cost upwards of PS700, which can be a huge amount for parents on limited incomes.

The reality is that, absent an area with public transport available or have a huge car garage and spend every weekend in muddy parks, the majority of families purchase two buggies. One main sturdier buggy that can carry loads and withstand rough terrain and expand with the family, and a lightweight travel buggy for trips and small spaces, such as on public transport or busy streets.
