The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a fantastic choice if you're seeking a robot mop and vacuum that's priced in the middle. It's got a fantastic mopping performance but lacks some of the features found in its more expensive counterpart.

In tests, it was able to handle dry oats and dust on medium-pile carpet as well as pet hair on hard floors. It doesn't use LIDAR however, like cheaper models do, to locate your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the best-rated robots. It offers impressive cleaning power and plenty of features that include a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. This robot can learn your habits for cleaning and suggest automatic schedules to provide you with the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is set up you can begin the cleaning automatically with just one button. You can select an overall clean that emphasizes the removal of large debris such as cereal and rice or go for two thorough mappings of your home to ensure your entire home has a clean and tidy appearance.

This robot vac performs well on floors that are unfinished and low-pile carpet. It can remove pet hair and sucks large objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot promises it will get better with the next models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that concentrates on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which will allow it to hug walls and furniture. It's a great improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we discovered it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ comes with a superior filtering system that blocks microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price cost.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors to store the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map your interior of your home. It then cleans your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundary markers so that the robot knows which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine mopping and vacuuming the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are as good as those on higher-end models. And its mopping system is better - its spinning pads clean your floors more efficiently than a vibrating pad.

The only issue is the absence of a second brush for more thorough cleaning. However, that's not a problem when you're looking to purchase one of the best robots on the market. The robo-vac's dust tank larger than many of its rivals and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even with the maximum dirt level.

As for the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. The two mopping settings that it has that are less powerful than the high-powered settings, produce minimal noise, meaning you can work or even watch television without getting distracted. It will gently hit a wall or furniture and then move on whenever it comes across one.

What really makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly completely autonomously, requiring only a little for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and can automatically transfer garbage into a bin hidden. It also washes and dries the clean water tank. The app will only inform you when something is not right, such as the water tank being empty or a canceled vacuuming session due to an empty bin.

You can also create and combine actual rooms to customize how the Q Revo treats your abode. This is an excellent feature to have if you have several areas of your home with different flooring materials or there's some clutter that must be removed regularly, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum was also among the top performers in my test cleaning up debris from carpets and hardwood floors on the first go. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I recommend drying them with a towel before sending it into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that has all the features you can wish for. It has a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with a self-cleaning base station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads, keeping them free of germs and robot vacuum and mop ready to use again. It also comes with a sensor that recognizes obstacles better and prevents it from falling on furniture or other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its sleeker, modern design. This is thanks to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still large--it measures over two feet in the height and depth and weighs in at least four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This version is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can handle a full cleaning of around 1,500 square feet on one charge. And it has a larger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris, making it easier to empty it when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that is functional even when you're not at home. It also has more mopping options and a smart robot vacuum routing feature which allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of simply following a predetermined path.

The Omni Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested because of its mop pads that rotate to clean tough stains away and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent too, and it boosts suction when it detects carpets to ensure that it does the job well. It also has a large battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as powerful as anything we've seen in an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end robot vacuum mop vacuum and mop that comes with a host of features that you do not often find on robots of this price. It is able to create detailed floor maps and detect various flooring types. It's also among the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. But while these functions are great however, they also put the L10s Ultra in the category of luxury, which might make it somewhat more expensive than what some homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is tall and slim with a white finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine features an impressive bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner when you are moving around your home. In the pane in the front is an additional navigation technology with sensors that aid the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button which is used as an on/off switch. The button will activate the vacuum. If you click it again, it will turn it off and transmit it to its base station. The central control panel is the circular menu which lets you choose cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons allow you to access the settings in the app, which allow you to customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of cameras and LIDAR technology to map your home. This creates a precise floor plan that enables the robot vacuum and mop effectively without getting stuck in areas with clutter. The LIDAR also helps the robot vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles which is a great feature for families with children or pets.

The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability, clearing 98.4 percent of debris from our hardwood floor test and removing all but the most stubborn juice stain. Its mops are also quite efficient, clearing 98.4 percent of debris from our tile, wood, and carpet tests. It was not as effective in removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
