Athena

Athena is the embodiment of wisdom and strategic warfare, an appropriate god for her role as Zeus the god's daughter. A daughter of Zeus and Metis, Athena was born from his head and inherited the best qualities of both her parents. She is the patron goddess of ranged weapons and artillery However, her primary strength comes from offering strong defensive boons. Her Deflection ability diverts melee and projectiles from enemies back to their source, while her Frost Strike boon can deal the most damage to enemies frozen in place or slow their movement speed.

Her main disadvantage is that she has few offensive buffs. However, her damage mitigation buffs can make the difference between a build that has the highest damage focus versus one without. Her Duo buff applies Weakness each time you hit an enemy which is especially useful when fighting in situations where you cannot avoid being hit by Elysium and Styx.

Like her cousin pragmatic play zeus vs hades, Athena can be overly confident at times and believe she is more knowledgeable than everyone else. She doesn't appear as close to her cousin as the other Olympian gods and is often critical of him.
