Slot Missions in Hogwarts

Slot missions are an excellent way to earn gear, weapons and more. But they're also hard to do.

Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot allows you to bring pistols into an operation. Some players employ it to help reach certain goals, especially those who aim for Suit Only. Some players utilize the extra pistol to bridge a gap. When using this slot, you need to keep in mind that you'll need to click on the corresponding pistol category button, like the alternate slot 2 for machine guns, to select the appropriate category. Major Expedition and Adept Rider are in use, making it much easier to use. This combo adds a damage tick every 10 seconds from the concealed Weapon for as long as it is positioned.

Smuggled Item Slot

The smuggled items slot is a good feature for allowing players to bring weapons and tools, but it could be improved with a better option. It's currently shaped as an a gun, which makes it hard to differentiate the smuggled item slot from other gear slots.

The smuggle slot can hold an array of items, from subtle concussion devices, to weapons-grade explosives. These items are hidden in locations throughout the map. They can be picked up at anytime. The items that are smuggled differ from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes that hide small objects in scenery and objects.

Mission planning is a feature available in short-term missions that allow players to unlock different starting locations as well as smuggled items and gear slots ahead of their entry into the map. As players advance through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these options for planning expand. This lets players plan the perfect mission for each challenge.

Gear Slot

Early on in the game players will find their gear 3D slots fill up, leading to the dreaded "Your Gear trusted slots are Full" message that prevents Max from picking new equipment until the old items are cleared or a larger space is obtained. Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials are the answer to this issue. They give players more inventory space for completing challenges. However, since the majority of these challenges are scattered across the globe and are easily missed, it can take a long time to acquire the most inventory slots in the game.

Each player can have up to five different kinds of gear in their five Gear slots with bonuses. They must be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to a Break-In. Each gear item (except the Pistol) takes up one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like Grenades that are of the same type) only takes up one Gear Slot.

Pickups by agencies

As you progress through Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups throughout the map. These locations let you store items that do not fit into your concealed weapon or gear slots and then retrieve it later.

These pickups are especially useful if you need to go through a frisk in the course of the course of your mission or if you're carrying a weapon that might otherwise trigger suspicion. You can only conceal only one item at a pick-up location.

This DLC adds new contracts for asset protection and security to the agency. Talk to the receptionist at the agency and purchase snacks and armor. Once you've reached the marker you can identify a crowd upon arrival.
