Slot Missions in Hogwarts

Slot missions are a great method to earn gear weapons, equipment and much more. But they're also difficult to complete.

In this video slot, which was inspired by Jackie Chan, you can join a group of fighters that are seeking to earn cash and pardons. Help them free captured generals. Earn up to 50,000x your bet per line.

Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot permits you to bring pistols into a mission. Some players use this to achieve certain goals, especially those going for Suit Only. Some players make use of the extra pistol to close a gap. It's important to remember that in order to select the pistols in this slot you must click on the button to select the appropriate category, such as machine guns in the alternate slot. Being able to have Major Expedition and Adept Rider on makes it easier to do. This combo also gives you an attack tick from the concealed Weapon every 10 seconds so long as you have it in the slot.

Slot for items being smuggled

The smuggled items slot an excellent feature that allows players to bring tools and weapons into the game, but could be improved. It's currently shaped like a pistol that makes it difficult to differentiate the smuggled item slot from other gear slots.

The smuggle slots can be used to store a assortment of items, from concussion devices to weapons grade explosives to subtle concussions. These items are covertly stashed in a hidden location on the map and are able to be recovered at any moment. The items that are smuggled are different from Agency Pickups and Hidden Stashes that conceal small items within the scenery or objects directly.

Mission planning is a feature available in episodic missions that lets players discover different starting locations, smuggled items and gear slots prior to their entry into the map. As players advance through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these options for planning expand. This lets players plan the ideal task for each challenge.

Gear Slot

The top slots for gear will quickly get full early in the game, leading to the dreaded message "Your Gear Slots are Full". This message will prevent Max to select new equipment until the old items are taken away or space has been obtained. The solution is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which provide more inventory space in exchange for the completion of challenge missions. Since many of these challenges can be overlooked and are scattered around the globe, it might take a while to reach the most inventory slots available in the game.

Each player has up to five different types of gear in their five Gear Slots. They must be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to a Break-In. Each gear item (except the Pistol) will take up one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like a group of Grenades of the same type) only takes up one Gear Slot.

Agency pick-ups

As you progress through Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups across the map. These locations let you keep items that aren't suitable in your concealed weapon or gear slot, and get them back later.

These pickups can be very useful when your task requires you to pass through a frisk, or if you have a weapon with you that could raise suspicion. You are only able to hide one item in a pickup location.

This DLC also adds new asset protection and security contracts to the agency. To start these missions, simply talk to the receptionist at the agency and stock up on armor and snacks. Once you've reached the marker you can identify a crowd at the time you arrive.
