Slot Missions in Hogwarts

Slot missions can be a great method to obtain weapons, equipment and more. But they're also difficult to do.

Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot is a special slot that lets you bring pistols in to a mission. Some players employ it to help achieve certain achievements, particularly those who are aiming for Suit Only. Some players make use of the extra pistol to close gaps. It's important to remember that to choose the pistols for this slot you must click on the button to select the appropriate category, such as machine guns in the alternate slot. Major Expedition and Adept Rider are in use, making it much easier to use. This combo adds a damage tick every 10 seconds from the Concealed Weapon for as long as it is slotted.

Slot for items that are smuggled

The smuggled items slot an excellent feature that allows players to bring weapons and other tools into the game, but it could be improved. It's currently shaped like a pistol, which makes it difficult to differentiate the weapon slot smuggled by smugglers from other newest slots for gear.

The smuggle slots are used to store a wide assortment of items, from concussion devices and explosives for weapons to more subtle concussions. These items can be found in hidden locations throughout the map. They can also be retrieved at any time. Smuggled items differ from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes that hide small items in the scenery or objects.

Mission planning is a feature that is available in episodic missions that lets players gain access to different starting points equipment, smuggled items, and slots prior to their entry into the map. As players progress through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these planning options increase. This lets players prepare the perfect task for every challenge.

Gear Slot

In the beginning of the game, players will notice that their gear slots become full, resulting in the dreaded "Your Gear Slots are full" message which prevents Max from selecting new equipment until the old ones are removed or space is obtained. The solution to this problem is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which provide more inventory space in exchange for fulfilling challenging missions. However, because the majority of these challenges are scattered around the world and can be missed it could take some time to get the maximum number of inventory slots available in-game.

Each player has up to five different kinds of gear in their five Gear Exciting slots. They must be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to the break-in. Each gear item (except for the Pistol), takes up one Gear Slot, while a grouping of similar items (such as a grouping of Grenades) can only use one Gear Slot.

Agency Pickups

As you progress through Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups on the map. These locations let you store items that don't fit in your weapon or gear slot. You can get them back later.

These pickups are particularly useful when you have to pass through a frisk in the course of the game, or if you are carrying a weapon that would otherwise trigger suspicion. You are only able to hide only one item at a pick-up location.

This DLC also adds new asset protection and security contracts to the agency. Talk to the receptionist at the agency and purchase snacks and armor. Once you've reached the marker be sure to identify a group when you arrive.
