Slot Missions in Hogwarts

Slot missions can be a great way to get gear, weapons and much more. But they're also difficult to complete.

Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot is a unique slot that allows you to bring guns into an operation. Some players employ it to help attain certain goals, particularly those who are aiming for Suit Only. Some players utilize the extra pistol to close a gap. If you are using this slot, it is important to keep in mind that you'll have to click the corresponding pistol category button, such as the alternative slot 2 for machine guns, in order to select the category of your choice. The presence of Major Expedition and Adept Rider on makes it easier to do. This combo also adds a damage tick from concealed Weapon every 10 seconds for as long as you have it slotted.

Smuggled Item Slot

The smuggled items slot a great feature that allows players to bring weapons and tools into the game, but it could be improved. It's currently shaped like a pistol, which makes it difficult to distinguish the weapon slot smuggled by smugglers from other slots for gear.

The smuggle slots are used to store a wide assortment of items, from concussion devices and weapons grade explosives to subtle concussions. These items are hidden in locations around the map. They can also be found any time. These items are distinct from Agency Pickups and Hidden Stashes that conceal small items within the scenery or objects directly.

Mission planning is a feature available in episodic missions. It allows players to unlock different starting locations, smuggled objects and gear slots prior to stepping into the map. As players advance through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these planning options increase. This allows players the ability to design the perfect mission for each difficulty.

Gear Slot

In the beginning of the game, players will notice that their gear slots rapidly fill up, leading to the dreaded "Your Gear Exciting Slots are full" message which prevents Max from acquiring new equipment until the old ones are cleared or a larger space is found. Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials are the solution to this problem. They give players more inventory space for completing challenges missions. Since a lot of these challenges are overlooked and are scattered around the globe, it could take some time to obtain the maximum number inventory slots in the game.

Each player has up to five different types of gear in their five Gear Slots. They must be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to breaking in. Each gear item (except for the Pistol) will take up one Gear Slot, while a grouping of similar items (such as the grouping of Grenades) only uses one Gear Slot.

Agency Pickups

As you progress in Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups throughout the map. These locations allow you to store items that do not fit in your concealed slot for gear or weapon, and retrieve them later.

These pick-ups can be useful if your mission requires you to go through a frisk, or if you carry a weapon with you that could raise suspicion. However, you can only keep one item at a time at a location that is a pickup for the agency.

This DLC adds new contracts for asset protection and security to the agency. Contact the receptionist at the agency and stock up on snacks and other items. Then, walk to the designated marker and locate a mob upon arrival.
