We've seen a few combinations that can only be attached or removed using straps, which can feel like an extra step and make it difficult for parents to secure the car seat correctly.

It's also very heavy, which means it takes two hands to snap the carrier into the base and detach it from there.

In our tests, we took about 5 minutes to put together the UPPAbaby v2 Cruz. It's a fairly simple procedure when you take into account the time saved by not having to take out all the individual pieces. The toddler seat can be slid into and removed with ease on most of these models.
