Bentley Keys Are Bold, Adventuresome and Uncompromising

Bentley cars are brave, adventurous and uncompromising. Their key accessories also reflect this spirit.

With Bentley's 100th anniversary scheduled for next year, the Mulliner division is celebrating its founder with a special edition of Mulsanne. It pays homage to the company's founder father, W.O. bentley key fob programming and even has an item from one of his own cars.

The special model which is available on a regular or long-wheelbase Mulsanne or Mulsanne Speed, was inspired by the 1930 8 Litre Bentley that W.O. used as his personal car. The influence of this car can be seen in the cabin. For example, a Mulliner illuminated bar cabinet features an exhibit that has a part of the 8 Litre crankshaft that is displayed inside.

Other highlights include a chrome-colored application running backwards along the side of the car that has an air vent in the shape of a B that incorporates W.O. The front grille is modeled in 1930s-style Onyx, and there's an additional chrome application around the lower spoilers on the left and right. The front grille is distinctive, with a chrome shell instead of the normal body-color mesh that is found on the regular Mulsanne and incorporating the Flying B logo as well.

The key box is embossed with Bentley wings and features an ebony lining. Key pouches are available to be bought to match or contrast the key box. The set commemorative also includes a custom 1:18 scale model of the 8 Litre and a flying 'B' paperweight as well as a printed brochure that features never-before-seen photos of the original 1930s 8 Litre.

Bentley's "Speed" series is enjoyable and takes the Continental GT's already excessive lavishness and elevates it to eleven. It's not just about the stunning exterior or the extra hors-d'oeuvres. There are also mechanical improvements like the reworked suspension and stiffer handling that make the car less floppy.
