Robots That Vacuum and Mop

For instance, you can request the robot vacuum that mops to clean the kitchen and the living room thoroughly, but leave the spare bedroom alone. The S1 Pro's front colision sensors and smart navigation technology are excellent too and the robot is capable of detecting tiny obstacles that other models struggle with. The only drawback is that it is known to smash into walls and objects at a high speed. However, a quick look at the history of cleaning in the app will reveal precisely what the robot has accomplished, where it's going, and which obstacles it has encountered or avoided.

The docking station features a handy LCD screen that indicates when maintenance is needed for cleaning up debris and washing the dirty water tank. It's also able to mix detergent automatically into the water tank by using a 600ml bottle filled with the eufy's solution.

Both the S1 Pro vacuum and mop come with plenty of running time, with the mop able to operate for 184 minutes in Quiet mode, and the vacuum able to do 136 minutes in standard mode before needing to recharge or Robots That Vacuum and Mop return to the base to refill. The app is simple to use and intuitive, allowing you to view all the details of the cleaning.

2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the most recent version of the company's most popular robot vacuum and mop. Unlike last year's model, this one features an agitator that doubles in its mopping pad, which significantly improves its carpet cleaning capabilities. The S8 Pro Ultra also has enhanced suction power, which allows it to pick up small hairs and other debris that other robotic cleaners may be unable to pick up.

Like the other two Roborock models I've tested it also has a 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology that help to avoid furniture, walls and other obstacles. The S8 Pro Ultra goes one step further and includes a dual-camera that can identify objects, determining if they are walls or other surfaces. It then can alter its course automatically and clean the objects without stumbling.

It's the most expensive of the three models I've reviewed but it's also the most feature-packed. Its sleek and angular design is striking, and it only has three physical buttons. The power button, which also restarts the cleaning process mop function, a button for cleaning that doubles as a child-lock, and a home-button to bring the robot to its dock. The hinged lid can be lifted to reveal a 350ml dust bin and 200ml water tank. The water tank self-empties and the bin is auto-refilling.

The only downside I've discovered with this model is that its VibraRise mop pad mount isn't movable. It is possible to replace the mopping cloth if required, but it's a challenge to remove the mount for manual washing. I've noticed that any plush carpet that the robot touches will be in contact with the Velcro-like fastener system on the mount, which can cause abrasions.

The S8 Pro Ultra has a number of smart features which include support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. The Roborock app allows you to manage and set up these smart features. It also contains maps and advanced mopping options. The app lets you schedule cleanings and track the battery's life. You'll need to jump through some hoops to activate voice control on this model. It's a shame considering how well-performing it is otherwise.

3. Dreame X40

It can be programmed to only mop the hard floors, and skip carpeted areas or reverse the process. It can be controlled using the Dreame App or Alexa, Siri, or Google Home to ensure that voice-controlled operations are smooth and easy.

The app is user-friendly and easy to use and the X40's intelligent features are easy to set up. Users can program the X40 to clean at specific times, alter suction power and mode, look at floor plans and mapping and manage mopping settings. The X40 can also track its progress and notify you when it's done.

The X40 is easy to maintain and comes with many convenient features which make it a good choice for busy families. The docking station automatically empty the dustbin and wash the mop pads, then refill them with fresh cleaning solution and water. It will also tell you if the mop pad is at its maximum capacity and notify you of the situation before it spills.

4. L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra is a high-end robot vacuum cleaner uk that is among the most expensive on the market and comes with many additional features that make it stand out. Smart DuoScrub, a new feature in its mops, uses two mop heads with high-speed motors to scrub floors more thoroughly. It also has a maximum suction force of 7,000Pa. This is much higher than the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra or Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni and can vacuum up pet hair and smaller dirt particles as well as picking up spills and wet spots.

Its mops are also dried and cleaned inside the base station after every use. This is an excellent feature since it prevents the growth of mould and unpleasant odours in storage, and it also makes the mop system more efficient. This is a feature we haven't seen on other Best robot vacuum cleaner UK mop or vacuum models. It could be a great method to keep your home cleaner longer.

There are many choices, including the possibility to schedule cleaning times and adjust preferences. These can be set via the app or there are buttons that can be found on the unit itself. The mopping design is also excellent and the double-rotating mop is great for hard floors and in corners. They can also extend up to 2mm baseboards thanks to the MopExtend feature which is a nice addition.
