WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give you an increase in certain statistics. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item by 3. Each upgrade also boosts an unspecified substat.

The upgraded gear is usually more valuable, unless the item has low requirements by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a high variance in stats (like Eth Titan weapons). Upgrades are not as valuable for the latter because of the requirement to roll a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrading upgrader allows players to upgrade gear to a higher item level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of weapon or armor. Valorstones

Upgrades are functional items that can be used to improve the quality of weapons, tools, armor, and accessories.
