If you're looking for a robotic vacuum that also mops then this is the model to look for. It's smaller than the other models on this list, making it easier to maneuver in tight corners and under furniture. It comes with a 220 degree Lidar that, when combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, provides one of my top navigation and object avoidance features I've seen in a robotic vacuum. It's got a battery of 4600mAh that can last up to 170 minutes if mopping and sucking are set to standard mode. (It can run longer on turbo). It will even return to the dock to top up its battery part way through cleaning.

It's fast and does a fantastic job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It vacuums the carpeted rooms extremely quickly and hardwood floors in the hallways, and living room in one go. Its 8,000pa motor is able to remove dirt hair, pet hair, and poop with ease. Carpet detection increases power automatically when it comes in contact with carpets and the two side brushes help pull away debris from corners.

The mopping performance, though still impressive, isn't as good. The mop's rotating mechanism spins fast and uses 2.2lbs to clean dirt and stain. I've also noticed that the front arms protrude out slightly more than other robots, which is helpful for getting into tight corners and on baseboards. The front arms can be employed to clean larger pieces of debris, such as broken toys and fallen books.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot vacuum cleaner reviews mops and vacuums I've tested. It is quieter and doesn't make as much noise when mopping or vacuuming. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it must use a mopping solution that is proprietary and is sold separately. It's easy to install and performs well however, this is something you'll have to keep an eye on when you purchase this vacuum solely for the purpose of it mopping.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive item in our review. However, it does have some unique features which are worth a look. The X1 Omni is notable for its huge dock that doubles as a charging base for the robot, a sink for cleaning and two 4-liter water tanks. It also houses the 2.5-liter dustbin and an 2.5 liter dust bin.

The base has a few control buttons that let you manually begin a cleaning task and then recall the robot or run the dock's automatic emptying procedure. Press two buttons to turn off the child lock. This is a great feature for parents who are concerned about their children playing with the vacuum.

Like other robotic vacuums the X1 Omni utilizes its camera to spot furniture and obstacles in its path and eliminate them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.

Unfortunately, this means that the X1 Omni can occasionally get caught up in an obstruction, such as a power cord draped across a rug--that it becomes stuck and ceases to function until you free it. This is a rare event however, it was a bit frustrating because the X1 doesn't have a "stuck status" alert on its application.

The X1 Omni cannot automatically switch from mopping mode to vacuuming mode during the cleaning process. You'll have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't that bad however, mopping pads don't get washed or dried between uses. This could lead to mildew and mold.

On the positive side it's worth noting that the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot, thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who conceptualized its modern and sleek base as well as mopping pad apparatus. It's a big departure from the utilitarian all-black bases of rivals such as Roborock or iRobot. And it's a welcome sight for a market dominated by clunky boxy units.
