Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops are increasingly capable, acing our cleaning tests and tackling different types of floors. Look for models that allow you to choose from a variety of modes, and use their charging docks to self-empty and clean the stairs.

Many of the best robot vacuum and mop models integrate with your smartphone. Find an app that allows you to save maps, schedules, and choose cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

The gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive mop and robot vacuum combos available. It makes use of lidar to navigate, and create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels), and works with the free Eufy Clean app that lets you set up schedules and modify the S1's behavior.

The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which includes linoleum flooring in the dining area, kitchen, and bathrooms and also a large rugs and a medium-pile. It easily drove close to walls without colliding with them, and was able to drive across thresholds that were raised in the room without problem, although it sometimes was unable to navigate down stairs in a single pass. The S1 also did a fantastic job of cleaning hard floors, with its mop driving smoothly on the flat side against the floor, and then lifting itself when it reached carpet or rugs.

Before each mopping session, the docking station of the S1 automatically empties its dustbin and fills up its water tank with filtered, clean water ozonated. The dock adds an extra-deep cleaning solution to the water. The S1's tank of water holds enough water for around 12 cleaning sessions before it has to be cleaned, although this can vary based on how much you use the mop.

Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires regular maintenance to keep it working efficiently. To do this, you'll need to wash the dirty water tank occasionally to keep it from becoming clogged. It is also necessary to clean the swivel wheel and sensors frequently to avoid them from getting blocked by dust or dirt. Overall the S1 is simple to maintain, especially compared to other combinations which require more effort to maintain.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

Ecovacs all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop provides an effective solution for your cleaning requirements. The robot vacuum is rated at 8700Pa of suction and comes with numerous unique features, including full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning to avoid obstacles and cleans furniture. Its mopping ability is impressive. Rotating mops actually lift the floor and scrub it, rather than simply dragging a pad across the surface. The mops are also cleaned and dried in the base station as needed.

This robot combo is easy to install and use, with a simple interface that guides you through the procedure. It comes with a hand vacuum that recharges for those hard-to-reach areas that the robot can't reach and two water tanks that are automatically emptied and filled as required. It also comes with a variety of useful settings for fine-tuning your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does well at vacuuming, with a strong suction that easily picks up most debris and even the tiny dust particles that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty robust, however it can sometimes get caught in the small carpets or area mats that I have in my home (which is something you can mitigate by creating a virtual boundary in the application). The mopping feature is pretty excellent, too, with a pair of spinning mop heads that actually lift and scrub floors, as opposed to simply dragging the pad over it. The mops are cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station as required. The mops are also refilled at the top of the station as needed.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame launched the high-end X30 Ultra earlier this year and their new flagship robot vacuum cleaners best vacuum and mop has even more impressive features. It has outstanding cleaning performance and hands-off maintenance which makes it a strong contender for our top robot vacuum and mop list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a longer side brush ensure a thorough, custom-designed clean.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up large and fine particles from hard floors as well as carpets. It was able to clean the dirtiest areas of our tests with ease while avoiding pet hairs and other mess. The sweeping power of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush that swings out in order to reach areas that are difficult to reach, and a mop pad that extends across baseboards.

The Q5 is one of the few robots we tested that didn't have any trouble with high-pile carpets and area rugs, but it couldn't pick up kitty litter or cable tangles that's not a surprise since it does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is one of the most quiet robovacs that we have tested.
