Robots That Vacuum and Mop

Robots that vacuum and clean offer the convenience of cleaning dry debris and wet messes in one time, without having to switch between devices. They also can save space compared to two separate units, particularly in smaller living spaces.

A good combination bot will offer excellent navigation and obstacles avoidance. Look for models with docks that let them automatically empty their bins, replenish their water tanks, and wash the mopping pads.

1. Eufy S1 Pro

It's among the easiest robots to install that we've tested. Unpacking the S1 Pro is simple, and the quick-start guide will get you running with a clean and complete dust bag, hard floor solution and water tank in a matter of minutes.

The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can vacuum and mop well. The mops spin at a high rate and employ 2.2 pounds (1kg of force) to take away pet hair, dirt and sticky dried spills. The vacuum comes with four power modes, a range of attachments and brushes, and a user-friendly application that lets you pick the kind of cleaning you'd like to have for each room.

You could, for instance ask the robot to clean the kitchen and the living room thoroughly, but leave the bedroom to itself. The S1 Pro has excellent front collision sensors as well as smart navigation technology. It can detect small obstacles that other models cannot. 2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the latest version of the company's flagship robot vacuum cleaner best vacuum and mop. It's not like the model from last year, this one features a double agitator in its mopping pad which significantly improves its carpet cleaning abilities. The S8 Pro Ultra has an improved suction capacity that allows it to pull up smaller hairs as well as other debris other robotic cleaner and mop cleaners could miss.

The Roborock model, just like the other two models I tested, has infrared and reactive 3D obstacle avoidance technology that helps it get around obstacles like furniture, walls, and other obstacles. However, the S8 Pro Ultra takes things one step further by adding a dual camera which can detect objects and decide whether they're a wall or another surface. It will then automatically alter its direction and clean the objects without a pause.

It's the most expensive model I've tried however it also comes with the most features. Its sleek and angular design is striking and only has three physical buttons. The power button, which also restarts the cleaning mop button, which doubles up as a child-lock and a home button to take the best robot hoover to its dock. The hinged lid opens up to reveal a 350ml dustbin and 200ml water tank. The water tank automatically emptys and the bin automatically refills.

The only issue I encountered with this model was that the VibraRise mop pads mount isn't removable. While you can replace the mopping cloth (if needed), it's a pain to take off the mount itself to wash it manually. I've noticed that any carpet that the robot touches will come into contact with the rough Velcro like fastener system on mounts, which can cause abrasions.

The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a variety of intelligent features, including support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. The Roborock app allows you to manage and configure these features. It also includes maps and advanced mopping options. The app allows you to schedule cleanings and monitor battery life and component maintenance. You'll need to go through some hoops to activate voice control on this model. This is a shame considering how well-performing it is otherwise.

3. Dreame X40

This is a feature that we haven't seen before on other robot mop and vacuum models. It could be a great way to keep your home clean longer.

The app is simple to use and offers a variety of options for customising your cleaning routine. The L20 Ultra has a stylish design that has a white-and-metallic look that looks elegant and sophisticated. It's a bit heavier at 4kg than some of the other robots listed on this list however it's not a lot of weight. It is solid and well-built. They can also reach down to 2mm of baseboards thanks to the MopExtend feature which is a nice touch.
