Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops are getting more powerful. They pass our tests on cleaning and can handle a variety of floors. Look for models that let you choose from multiple modes, use their charging dock to self-empty and clean the stairs.

A lot of the top models work with smartphones. Look for an app that lets you save maps, schedules, and choose cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

Eufy's gunmetal-and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available on the market. It uses lidar for navigation and creates maps of floors and rooms.

The S1 was able to map my downstairs quickly, which includes linoleum in the dining area, kitchen, and bathrooms and also a carpet in the middle and a large area. It was able to drive right up to walls without colliding with them, and even managed to traverse thresholds that were raised in the room without problem, although it sometimes was unable to navigate down stairs in a single pass. The S1 also did an excellent job cleaning hard floors, with its mop driving smoothly on the flat side against the floor, and then lifting its own weight when it reaches carpet or carpet.

After every mopping session, the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills its water tank onboard with filtered, clean water ozonated. The dock provides a deep-cleaning solution to the water. Mopping capabilities are excellent and include a pair of mops which can lift and scrub the floor instead of simply drag the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned with heated water and dried in the base station when required. Mops can also be replenished at the top of the station as needed.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame launched the luxurious X30 Ultra earlier this year however their latest top-of-the-line best rated robot vacuum mop and vacuum has more impressive features. It is a great cleaner and is simple to maintain. This makes it a contender for our top list of robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and an extended side brush ensure that an effective, customized cleaning is achieved.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, removing large and small particles from both hard floors and carpets. It was able to clean the dirtiest areas of our tests well by avoiding pet hairs as well as other mess. It has a strong suction of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system so you don't need to empty the bin by hand each time. It also features a smart application that lets you choose your floor type and schedule cleanings. It also has an best automatic vacuum and mop water tank refill and wash system that allows hands-free operation.

Its mops also impress, with a 2700Pa power that can take on pet hair and dirt on carpets and hard floors. The Q5 is among the few robots we test that didn't have problems with carpets with high piles or area carpets, but it didn't pick up kitty litter or cable tangles and cable tangles, which isn't a surprise considering it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is one of the quietest robovacs we've tested. It also utilizes a unique system to map your home this allows it to get into the corners and tight spaces that other vacuums are unable to reach.
