It's very quick and does an excellent job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It is able to vacuum carpeted rooms quickly, and hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room, and hallways with just one motion. The suction motor's 8,000pa makes short work of picking up sand, dirt, and pet hair. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it detects rugs and the double side brush helps to remove debris from corners.

The mopping performance is less impressive, though not by a lot. The mop rotates at a high speed and is pushed down with 2.2lbs of force, effortlessly scraping away dirt and staining. I've also noticed that the front arms protrude out a bit more than other robots, which can be helpful to maneuver around tight corners and along baseboards. The front arms can also be used to pick up larger debris like books and broken toys.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot mops and vacuums I've used. It is quieter and doesn't create more noise when vacuuming or mopping. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it must utilize a specific mopping solution and is sold separately. It is easy to set up and performs well. However, if you are buying this vacuum solely for mopping purposes it is important to be aware of this.

The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive item in our review. It does however, have distinct features that make it worth looking into. The X1 Omni is notable for its enormous dock that serves as an charging base for the robot vacuum cleaners reviews, a cleaning sink and two 4-liter water tanks. It also houses the 2.5-liter dust bin and an 2.5 milliliter dust bin.

The base also has a variety of control buttons that allow you to manually start a cleaning task and then recall the robot or run the dock's auto-emptying process. Press two buttons to toggle the child lock. This is a wonderful feature for parents who are concerned about their children messing around with the vacuum.

The Omni Omni like other robotic vacuums, uses its camera to detect furniture and obstacles in its path. It will stay clear of them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system can map your home 10 times faster than conventional laser detection systems and is four times more precise in finding objects.

Unfortunately, this means that the X1 Omni will occasionally become so entangled with an obstacle--such as an electrical cord dangling across a rug--that it becomes stuck and ceases to function until you manually free it. This was a rare incident however, it was a bit frustrating since the X1 does not have an "stuck status" alert on its application.

Another possible issue is the X1 Omni's inability to automatically change between vacuuming and mopping modes during the cleaning process. You will have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't that bad but the mopping pad doesn't get washed or dried between uses. This can lead to mildew and mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed its sleek, modern base and mopping pad. It's a big contrast to the basic black bases of rivals like Roborock or iRobot. And it's an impressive sight in an industry dominated by boxes.
