If you need to clean up your mess quickly and efficiently, a robot vacuum and mop is the way to go. The top robot vacuums and mops in my tests come with top-quality mapping and navigation as well as the ability to remove Cheerios, tangled wires and fake dog turds, without leaving them behind.

They're also user-friendly with an app that lets you plan cleaning tasks and track what they're doing.

1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra

It's important to keep in mind that the mapping process can take some time, and the Yeedi Cube may need a few tries before it gets a good picture of your living space. The object detection is also not perfect. It was able to maneuver around furniture and other obstacles but got stuck on a rug with tassels that it required a flip to free itself. These are minor flaws and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those in need of an all-purpose cleaning tool that can do everything.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete offers a three-in-1 home cleaning solution. Its mopping technology is advanced and features a rotating motion like hand scrubbing which results in floors that are actually cleaned and not just being swept. The detachable vacuum stick is a game changer that can reach places even robot vacuums cannot.

The model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni, but with an a bit higher suction capacity of 8700Pa and other clever features. The upgraded RGBD sensor can learn your home's surroundings better and provide dynamic obstacle avoidance. The smart app allows you to customize a number of settings, including AI cleaning and virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo is also self-prepping, with both the robot automatic vacuum cleaner as well as the mop returning to their charging base after each job to wash their pads, empty their dust bins, and then place the debris in bags that self-seal. The operating noise level is also high, and it could be a less reliable set-and-forget model than others.

Like many robotic vacuums and mops, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that can refill its clean water, empty its dustbin and mop pad, as well as wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance simple and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in accordance with a regular schedule. Eufy's application lets you manage all of its functions. The base station comes with an integrated dust removal system that compacts dust, allowing for seven weeks of maintenance free operation.

6. S10

A few hundred dollars less than the S8 and this robot is a slick job of keeping my home office spotless and also take on the corners of my tiny apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to build an outline of your space, so it knows where to stay away from. And, unlike many vacuums that have mopping capabilities it also has detection of objects and obstructions that avoids items such as bowls and dog toys (but not poop).

It also has some outstanding highlights, such as an automatic vacuum cleaner emptying dust bin and a mop pad self-washing and adjustable to the temperature of the water, and a side-reaching sweeper brush that can reach areas other mops miss. You can also set cleaning schedules in the app and set custom the settings for each room of your home.

It comes with the same multi-room smart mapping that is found in the S8 and can differentiate between carpets and laminate with high-pile rug. It also lets you skip cleaning rooms that aren't dirty if you're looking to save time. It's an excellent option when you have a mix of flooring in your home and aren't looking to spend the extra money on the Roborock with advanced mapping features.

7. Q5 Pro

If you're looking to find a multi-functional robot vacuum and mop that is able to handle regular maintenance and touch-ups on messy messes that are wet, this robot is a good choice. It offers a broad range of features like self-emptying dustbins as well as the water refill dock, as well as adjustable settings in the app. It's surprisingly quiet and can maneuver between furniture legs and socks effortlessly. It's unable to pick up the tangled tassels of a rug, and its battery drains more quickly than other models we've tested.

The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerful unit that offers powerful suction and convenient automation, all in a sleek and stylish. It didn't perform as well in our mopping and mopping tests as the expensive Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra however, it did very well overall. It's smaller than many of its rivals however it doesn't sacrifice features. It has decent suction power and can be configured to take pictures of every object it picks (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys) and mark them in the app as 'not located' so that they are not removed in future cleanings. The photos are secure, and are not tied to your account.

It is capable of vaccuming, however it isn't quite as efficient at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that are clipped to the bot's bottom, and then drags them across your floor. Compare this with the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal models, which have water reservoirs that can automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
