It's worth noting that most midi loft beds with desk require the use of a standard UK single mattress (3ft/90x190cm) with a wooden slatted base. The cost of the bed does not include the mattress. We recommend looking at our mattress deals to find one that will fit your budget.

Mattress

Most midi beds can accommodate standard UK single mattresses and the top bunk is equipped with a safety rail that gives you additional security. Some models have a fantastic pull-out drawer for a trundle to sleep in or storage space underneath the bed. They can be either open or have doors (please check the product's specifications for full information).

Many midi cabins come with a desk that can be moved from one level to the next, or chests. This gives children a bespoke space to store their belongings, and there's no need to use up valuable floor space with large wardrobes or shelving units.

Some models have gone a step beyond with cabinets that are flush mounted, or even part of the headboard/footboard. This is ideal for storing toys and books.
