BMW Ghost Immobiliser

The Ghost utilizes the data bus CAN to communicate with your vehicle. This stops thieves adding a new key or even replacing the ECU to bypass your security system as it requires a correct PIN code to begin the engine.

The Ghost is unlike other immobilisers as it does not use key-fobs or LED indicators. Instead, it makes use of your vehicle's existing buttons to allow you to enter a unique disarm sequence that only you know.

Stop & Start

If you've ever driven a new BMW or used the stop start feature then you may have noticed that after stopping the engine will continue to continue to run for around 30 seconds after you release the brake pedal. Anti-Hijack

If you own a smartphone, you can also connect it up to your Ghost app to control the anti-hijack feature and other functions.

Remote Control

We can connect the Ghost device with your mobile app to enable remote control of keyless start and go functionality. This is useful if a valet or mechanic has to start your car but you are and not in the vicinity. The system will allow you to turn the vehicle on by selecting drive and then exit service mode without needing your key fobs. You can also see your vehicle's location in real-time on a map using your smartphone, perfect for tracking your car whilst moving around.

The Ghost can be placed under the dashboard or in the centre console, it is completely secure and untouchable and doesn't require any extra wiring. The device is connected to the vehicle's CAN Data Network (similar to an Ethernet cable) and a personal PIN code is inserted into it. The pin code must be entered prior to the engine's start. This will prevent thieves from gaining access to the system with the cloned or replaced ECU.

If the vehicle is stolen and the Ghost will go into a service mode and disables all functions until the PIN code is entered, or you utilize the mobile app to disarm it.
