UPVC replacement handles for upvc windows Door Handles

As time passes, the handles on your doors will get worn out and will require replacement. When replacing them, it is important that the new handles conform to the dimensions of the old handle.

Inline Lever/Lever

The handle can be positioned and angled to suit any user. The handle has been tested to 200,000 cycles, this will ensure the quality of the finish and performance of the handle over time. The lever that springs is adjustable to fit a wide range of locks. This is especially useful for doors with narrower frames, where the cylinder is further back. A lever that is shorter can be used for doors with latches that can be opened by the thumb located on the inside.

Lever Pad

A Lever Pad upvc door handle operates differently from lever-type handles for internal bifold doors found on most doors. These handles are operated by one spindle, or two spindles inline or offset. They are commonly employed on UPVC doors with double glazed window handle glazing and come in a range of finishes & variations.

The handles have been tested to at least 200,000 cycles and are available in several finishes including White Silver, Chrome, & Gold. The finish is BS EN 1670 Grade 5 and resistant to corrosion. This provides the handle with the best performance and long-lasting durability for its intended purpose.

All UPVC lever pads for handles include a spindle and screws and can be installed on a replace upvc door handle door. The 211mm backplate fixing centres allow for a larger handle, which can often be a benefit when replacing a damaged or worn multi point door lock mechanism. These handle levers are also spring-loaded, which solves the issue of handles that slide from their horizontal position when they are not in use.

Euro Cylinder

Cylinder locks can be found on uPVC and other kinds of doors. The cylinder lock operates by a key which unlocks the cylinder's case. This reveals pins that can be aligned with those in the lock, and permit them to turn the camera that rotates, opening the door. Euro cylinders are available with up to six pins. Internal and external doors require different levels of security.

The spring cassettes were made to be used with a spring multipoint locks. They are not compatible with handles that are not sprung and you'll have to cut a hole into your backplate for them to fit. They have an elongated square that allows for an 8mm spindle to be used and are sold as a set.

These spring cassettes offer an excellent value solution for the issue of door handles that have become sagging. They are simple to install and will increase the life span of your uPVC doors.
