Greenpower creates, builds and distributes a range of high-floor and low-floor all-electric heavy and medium-duty vehicles. This includes school buses, transit buses, cargo buses, buses for cargo and shuttles.

EV Star is a zero-emission vehicle with a high degree of personalization. It's also fully FTA certified and Buy America compliant. It has a range that is unbeatable, ADA wheelchair provisions, and cargo delivery configurations.

GreenPower Motor Company produces a full suite of high-floor and low-floor all-electric heavy-duty and medium-duty vehicles. Their flagship vehicle is the EV Star Cab & Chassis platform, which can accommodate a variety of bodies and upfits for a variety of applications. The design of the platform is based on a clean paper that allows for the best placement of the battery pack and a lower center-of-gravity. This results in higher range/payload ratios.

The EV Star REEFERX is designed to be used for mid-to-last mile refrigerated delivery as well as catering applications. The class 4 refrigerated truck's one interior wall structure and higher insulation compared to traditional trucks allows for seamless sanitation, improved temperature control and a more extended life. The EV Star REEFERX delivers superior cargo capacity and a world-class payload to range ratio that is ideal for zero emission passenger transport and goods.

GreenPower has collaborated with Perrone Robotics to up-fit the EV Star with their TONY (To Navigate You) autonomous vehicle system. This will allow fleets to seamlessly change to autonomous vehicles. The AV Star will also be capable of wireless charging at 75 kW.

We were capable of testing the EV9 on a local highway for several hours. We found it easy to drive and comfortable to drive for long distances. The EV9 is able to suppress the sound of traffic and wind driving on the highway. It rides smoothly over ruts and humps. The acceleration of the vehicle is astonishingly quick, and it has adjustable regenerative brakes to enable "one-pedal driving" simply by lifting off the accelerator.

The EV9 is extremely reliable and can be fully recharged within three hours at home, or using any commercial charger. The driver has the option of choosing between two operating modes: electric mobility scooter fastest eco mode and sport mode. Eco mode focuses on the cruise control and torque, while the sport mode maximizes speed and handling. Both modes are enjoyable to drive, and offer an unforgettable experience for those who have never driven an electrical vehicle before.

In addition to the EV9, GreenPower has several other e-vehicles available, including a multi-purpose electric mini bus called the EV Star. The EV Star is ADA-compliant and can be used as executive shuttles, microtransit and transit vanpools, buses, and paratransit vehicles.

GreenPower produces around 10 EV Star busses a month for Jacksonville Transit Authority. The Jacksonville Transit Authority is replacing their older diesel vehicles fleet with 100 all-electric cars. With the Biden Administration aiming to electrify schools across the nation, GreenPower plans on ramping up production to meet demand. Their EV Star bus is the first of its kind to be Altoona-tested and Greenpower scooter FMVSS-certified, Buy America compliant and ADA certified. This means they'll be eligible for federal assistance in transit. We will be following the AV Star as it makes its public demonstration tour later this year. We will provide more information on this innovative electric vehicle.
