3. Roomba X40 from iRobot

With an elegant circular design that appears more like a normal Roomba rather than the boxes, this mop and robot vacuum is one of the most attractive designs in our reviews. iRobot’s latest flagship model is also among its most advanced. It comes with advanced features like Enhanced Dirt Detection and future compatibility (another company’s robot that can wash mop pads on its own).

It's also the only robotic vacuum or mop that scored an absolute 10 out of 10 in our evaluations. This is due to a mix of high-tech sensors including a structured light system, camera, and a variety of lasers. The X40 Ultra is also the only robot we tested that is fully self-refill and empty its base station, and it has an the industry's highest suction of 12,000Pa and self-cleaning mop pads.

The X40 as with other iRobot products, is simple to use. It has an easy mobile application interface and integrates with Amazon Alexa and Apple HomeKit. The only drawback is that it's a noisy unit which could be a problem if you run it in the morning before work or in the evening as you attempt to sleep.

It's also a bit costly but not as much as the Ecovacs MaxV Ultra or the Roborock S8 Omni, which are equally impressive and attractive. It's a dual-purpose vacuum that's very capable however it's more expensive and create more noise.

iRobot L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra is the top-of-the line best robot vacuum and mop mop and vacuum. It comes with a variety of features that are advanced and will make you forget about your chores.
