How to Fix a Key Fob That isn't Working

If your key fob isn't functioning, a few easy steps can fix it. The first step is to be sure it's not the backup remote.

If the backup remote is able to lock and unlock your repair car key remote doors, it is most likely an issue with the main remote. The most common causes of car remote key failure are issues with the circuitry or battery.

Battery

It is not unusual for the battery inside the automotive key repair fob for cars to degrade. Circuitry
