Best Robot Vacuums and Mop Systems

This robot vacuum-mop is an excellent option for flat dwellers, because it takes the trash away in its own bin and uses a smaller docking station. Its application lets you set up different modes and monitor cleaning. The mopping function is also impressive.

Its mapping, obstacle avoidance, and mopping capabilities are impressive. It picks up pet hair, spills, and dirt. It also self-empties and cleans and replenishes its water tank.

iRobot Roomba Combo

The iRobot Combo is a robot that can vacuum and mop. It's also less compact than its vacuum-only counterpart and it doesn't have a self-empty dock.

The Combo is one of my favorites for most homes. Its sleek design is also among the most attractive I've seen. The sleek matte black plastic appears superior to the competition's metallic or glossy finishes, and iRobot's little features--like a leather tab that can open the bin on the board and a shelf inside the dock that can hold additional bags--are more classy than a lot of its rivals'. The iRobot Combo makes it easy to create maps and establish Keep-Out Zones.

Roborock

While Roborock is relatively new to the robotic vacuum and mop market but it's already earned its name because of its innovative cleaning techniques. Roborock's vacuums are world-class in suction, and mopping systems make use of vibrating mops to keep floors of dirt. Plus, a wide range of scheduling and mapping options allow you to fine-tune the schedule of cleaning for your particular home.

Another impressive Roborock feature is the obstacle avoidance, which lets the robot see objects smaller than its height. This is especially helpful for the most popular Roborock models, like the Qrevo Master, which is top of the line in terms of navigation, because of vSLAM and LiDAR. Other robovacs are known to slam into pet waste and slam furniture without noticing. It also has a self-emptying bin that provides an adequate amount of suction power, provides a number of mopping options, and is controlled by a top quality application that runs on both iOS and Android.

It's a bit smaller than the competition and its main brush is a bit shorter but it still managed an impressive job in our test room. The edge brush that rotates on the side is a great feature. Although it didn't get rid of dirt as well as some of the competitors, it did a good job.
