WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades provide a guaranteed boost to specific stats. Each upgrade increases the level of the item by +3. Each upgrade also increases an unspecified substat.

The upgraded gear is usually more valuable, unless the item is not required by nature (like FB sorc shields) or a high stat variance (like the eth Titan weapons). These types of gear get less value from upgrading due to the requirement to roll to get a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader lets players upgrade their gear by offering the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied on any kind of armor or weapons. The Item upgrader mod used to upgrade the item will be consumed and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be applied to enhancements.

The upgrader can be found in every major city, and can be accessed anytime to upgrade your gear. It is recommended to visit the upgrader at least once every few weeks, to keep your equipment up-to-date.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to purchase weapon, armor, tool, and accessory upgrades. Once purchased, an upgrade can be applied to any tool, weapon, or armor. The button will show the preview of an item's next upgrade level, in the event that there are enough materials.

The cost of upgrades varies based on the item level upgrade slot and the current item level as well as the level of the weapon, which is more than bracers or gloves, for instance. When a piece of equipment attains the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer) it will no longer require Flightstones. This change lets players upgrade their equipment to the highest possible level on all of their characters instead of relying on seasonal loot.

Another significant change is that crests have one use and it's crucial to make use of them in a responsible manner.
