Upgrades provide a guaranteed boost to certain stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item by +3. Each upgrade also boosts an unspecified substat.

Upgraded gear generally sees more value in trade as long as it meets low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or has a high stat variation (like the eth titan weapons). These types of gear get less value from upgrading due to the necessity to roll for a perfect model.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by giving the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied on any type of weapon or armor. However, the item that is used for the upgrade will remain in use for a long time and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be applied to the enchantments.

You can upgrade your gear anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. It is recommended to visit the upgrader at least once every few weeks to ensure that your equipment is up-to-date.

The cost of upgrading will depend on the current item level of the gear being upgraded however, they will always be less expensive than buying new gear from other sources. Upgrades such as upgrading a Benthic chest to 385 ilvl will cost you 20 recycle points. If you purchase a similar item, it will cost you 105.

Upgrades are functional items that can be used to level up weapons tools, armor, and accessories. They can be purchased by players from NPCs of item upgraders for various currencies. This is especially applicable to items like trinkets and rings that take up several slots. The discount on the account is only applicable when all slots on the character are filled with high-quality equipment.
