Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can sometimes increase the stats of a piece and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrades is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements, and how many random augmentations are applied.

The racial Shield elite Razortail, for example, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP and/or provide additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the un-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an acquired item, such as armor, weapon or ring. This swaps the current item for a different one of the same type with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens can be an economical method of upgrading equipment. However, they don't keep the quality of the original item and any resources wasted won't be compensated for.

The surviving players can acquire Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be located in crates and chests, or purchased at the local store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of an item, for example increasing the damage it can cause.

Players can reroll their equipment using three attributes: physical power, magic power, and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage of melee and weapons attack while upgrades to spell power boost mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional level of health.

Three types of reroll tokens are available: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each upgrade elevates an item to a higher-quality and requires an upgraded reroll token in order to create it. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require items that are either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

The marker for rerolling, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action spaces, remains on the space till the next success is rerolled. This allows you to prevent the waste of upgrades.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened they will display a complete description and icon of the relevant appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's shop will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.

In the end, you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls, and also those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase the level of an item upgrading by increasing its stats and abilities. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by signing daily contracts.

To upgrade gear players must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". The menu will be displayed showing the item's current level and what it will be after being upgraded and the required amount of Growth Stones to do so. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Most often rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires only one green or blue Growth Stone.

After selecting the item to upgrade, the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. Once the player has met the requirements, he is able to select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. Based on the rarity of the item and rarity, the upgrade process could be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.

The upgrade process is risk-free and does not affect the item's longevity. It's a great way for players who want to gain an advantage in battle but don't want spend a lot of money. Additionally, players can transfer the experience and the progress of an upgraded item onto a new item by clicking the "transfer" tab.

The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be daunting for players who are new to the game. There are many methods to get these stones. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, get them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or collect them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. In addition players can take apart higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling

Leveling is an optional feature that lets players boost the stats of their weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. It is achieved by the combination of an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade materials and grant the item an increased level, which gives the item a boost in that particular area. This process can continue until the item reaches its maximum level.

Items with upgraded stats will have a blue icon beside their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be added to more than one item at a time. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a particular quantity of items to be added in addition to an initial level for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can place an item that they wish to upgrade. On the right side, previews show what the gear will look like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after the player has enough materials will begin the upgrade process.

An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Every time the item upgrading is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small percentage. The maximum level for an item is 19.

Once an item reaches its maximum level, it will no longer have the option of upgrading. Likewise, once a piece of gear reaches a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.

Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can slot into weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools in order to provide an additional effect or bonus when the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be changed by acquiring new ones. However, this can ruin the previous upgrade.

Requirements

Upgrades can be beneficial to certain items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable to players when they get an exact roll. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for instance, is highly valued by the melee PvP communities and can be worth as much as 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.

The game will highlight the requirements when you select the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. These include the type of item (either weapon or armor) and the level of the item, the Upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.

Once you've satisfied the conditions for upgrading The game will then place the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will be updated to show how close to completing it. You can also check on the status of an item upgrader upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
