Path of Exile item level upgrade Upgrades

item upgrades (try these out) are a common and important way to improve the performance of numerous items in Path of Exile. They can also provide additional damage, AD or even affixes.

Often times however upgraded Common and Magic gear is outclassed by Rare-grade equipment due to their higher requirements.

Armor

Armor upgrades can be applied to both weapon and armor items. They boost the performance of the item upgrader kit they're connected to. Upgrades to armor can be found in the world of games and are available from Blacksmiths on bonfires. Alternately, they can be rescued from items with upgrade components in them using a specialist or more powerful salvage kit.

The amount of damage an armored item or weapon can absorb depends on the extent of its upgrades. The ability to absorb damage of an item of armor will increase when it's upgraded to the highest upgrade level. It's important to remember that this will increase the weight of the armor, therefore it must be more heavy.

There are many different kinds of armor upgrade available in the game. Each has a different effect. Some upgrades give armor an extra number of health points while others make it stronger and lighter. The type of armor upgrade that an item upgrades can receive will be identified by the name of the upgrade as illustrated in the table below.

Certain upgrades require magic or a hybrid technology and magic, as identified by the "Magic" and "Hybrids" entries in the table below. Certain upgrades require charges for use. They are referred to as "Charges" entries in the table. These charges are continuously updated or never expire based on the upgrade.

The cheapest method of upgrading armor is to use Iron Ore, which can be found by exploring the environment and looting minor loot chests. Titanium is more expensive, but it can be obtained from the smelters in Orgrimmar and Stormwind City. Weapons

Weapon upgrades allow players to increase the effectiveness of certain aspects of an weapon. For instance an upgrade can enhance the damage caused by the shells of a shotgun or the accuracy of the rifle that snipes. Certain weapons come with special upgrades that enhance their inherent qualities. These include Frictionless Materials (improves stability and decreases the chance of overheating of the weapon) and Kinetic Coils (increases the speed of projectiles to cause more damage).

The majority of weapon upgrades require a whetblade, one of three Power Dices and a different amount of Minerals and Erons. These can be gained by completing Side Quests or killing a certain amount of monsters and bosses.

Upgrades to a weapon, equipment Set piece or Whetblade requires visiting the NPC [Armor] Boboko in Central Flarine and paying her an upgrade price of a certain number of Bars. The majority of players will make the most of upgrades to weapons they most often use to allow them to progress quicker. Jewels

All kinds of jewels are crafted at the Jeweler however, there are some exceptions to this, such as the rare and legendary jewels that require you to be at a sufficient level to qualify for these. Unlike other upgrade components, jewels can be swapped out with a identical jewel without damaging the original one. You can only replace the jewel only once in a piece of equipment.

It is common to use more gems to enhance the appearance of. The jewels also improve performance and create an outer layer that is more durable than steel so that repeated friction caused by pivots does not damage them.

In addition to the above upgrades, the player can also get glyphs for their shields and weapons from a Glyphmaster. These glyphs offer a small boost and can be freely traded, but they are not guaranteed to be available as loot. Glyphs can be upgraded, like jewelry, at the Jeweler for gold and scattered Crystal. Glyphs can also be removed from the inventory, and they are returned to the inventory. Other upgrade components like aegis or traits cannot be swapped, and can only be retrieved with an Upgrade extractor or salvaging with Black Lion Salvage Kit, or Ascended Salvage tool.

Trinkets

Trinkets can provide your hero with various small, but valuable, advantages. They can be acquired starting in the areas of starting as loot, personal story rewards, from vendors, and by completing road interactions. They can also be found on the Trading Post, or crafted by jewelers.

The first trinket players will unlock is the cloak. It gives a small but valuable boost in speed of movement and evasion. The player can then collect necklaces, rings, and amulets, in a similar way to how they acquired weapons and armor. Every piece of equipment has a slot for an upgrade that can be either universal or jewel. Universal upgrades provide smaller bonuses and can be put into any type of equipment, while jewelry cannot be changed or upgraded and is only compatible with specific types of trinkets.

These trinkets also provide additional buffs and skills that are active when the hero is not fighting. This lets a hero become more efficient even when not in combat. It also helps compensate for the absence of good team or talent tree slots which are usually filled by the hero's optimal stats.

In general, trinket upgrades should prioritize BiS (Best in Slot) items you won't replace anytime soon. Also, consider items with desirable statistics that aren't as significant as the iLevel of the item that is to be upgraded. This is true especially if you are looking to upgrade multiple statistics on an item. It's best to upgrade just one crucial stat instead of two subpar ones.

Jungle players usually upgrade their yellow trinkets to a red trinket at the start of the game. Top and mid players however, will choose a pink or green ward, depending on the matchup. These choices can affect the ability of a hero to control the map.

In addition to the items listed above, players will also discover other trinkets in form of trophies and rewards throughout the game. These can be earned through completing certain milestones within the story. For instance, completing a chapter’s main quest or beating a boss. You can see them by selecting the achievement from the reward section of the hero's menu.
