Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop

If you're looking to clean up messes quickly and efficiently, a robot vacuum and mop is the way to go. The best robot vacuums and mops that I tested had excellent mapping and navigation. They sucked up Cheerios and fake dog turds, well as tangled wires.

You can also schedule cleaning tasks using an app and track their progress.

1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra

The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot hoover mop and vacuum combo. It has the latest features. This top-of-the-line automatic vacuum cleaner is fast and agile and was able to pick up pet hair and human dander nearly flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also has a smart-looking app interface with a miniature map of your house and a few on-screen buttons for manual control.

The S8's Dirt Detection Technology allows it to adjust the cleaning mode based on the level of dirt. It will stop and wash its mopping pad more often when it encounters dust, while it will prioritize carpeted areas to mop with a damp pad.

The mop roller comes with a number of other smart features, including a dock that connects to the plumbing system in your home to clean and wash it without you having to refill the mop. With the built-in voice assistant on the S8 it is possible to use voice commands to set rooms cleaning options and the ability to control granular settings using only your voice.

2. Yeedi Cube

The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those who want a hands-free robot vacuum that can also mop. It's one of many combination robot vacuums that have mopping features that are also available at a lower cost than other models.

Like all robovacs, the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it started. This includes setting up an account on the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once that's done, the robot can start vacuuming and mopping with ease.

It is important to remember that the mapping process can take some time and the Yeedi Cube may need a few tries before it gets an accurate image of your living space. Additionally the object detection is difficult to determine; it was able to skim over furniture and other obstacles, but was stuck on a loose tassel rug and had to flip itself over to free itself. These are minor flaws and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those who need a cleaning companion that does all of the above.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete delivers a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features a rotating motion that is similar to hand scrubbing. This means that floors are cleaned, not just being swept. The vacuum stick that can be detached is an absolute game changer that can reach places even a robot vacuum cannot.

This model is essentially the same as the popular X2 Omni, but with an a bit higher suction capacity of 8700Pa, and a few additional intelligent features. The upgraded RGBD sensor can learn your home's surroundings better and provide dynamic obstacle avoidance. The smart app allows you to modify a range of settings including AI cleanings and virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the robot vacuum and mop return to their charging base at the end of each job to clean their pads and empty the dust bins and put the debris in bags that self-seal. This helps keep the system clean, and also stops allergens from circulating. And its battery life is long enough to handle large spaces without needing a recharge mid-clean.

4. Eufy S1 Pro

As one of the more premium robot vacuum and mop models, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for the money. It has an impressive 8,000 Pa suction, a rotary floor brush for carpets, and a great obstacle avoidance. It also has an innovative mopping technique which uses a rolling device that is continuously sprayed with water to collect dirt and deposit it into the dirty water tank.

Its navigation technology was effective in navigating close to walls without crashing, and avoiding stairs. However, it did struggle with finely engrained debris and was not always able to clear raised room thresholds. Its operating noise level is also quite high, so this model may not be as simple to set and forget as other models.

The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, comes with docking technology that allows it to replenish its clean water tank, empty the dust bin, dry and wash the mop, as well as empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance simple and helps the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors according to a routine schedule. You can manage all of its functions via the Eufy app, which gives an easy overview and lots of configurability.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is among the top mowers and vacuums on the market. It provides amazing results when it comes to mopping and vacuuming. The base station features an integrated dust-processing system that compacts dust and allows seven weeks of maintenance free operation.

6. S10

A few hundred dollars more than the S8 and this robot does a bang-up job of keeping my home office spotless and also take on the corners of my tiny apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to create a map of your home and knows where not to go. It has an object/obstacle detector that can avoid things like toys and dog bowls (but not the poop) unlike most vacuums.

It also comes with other highlights, such as an automatic vacuum and mop emptying dustbin, a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable for water temperature and a side-reaching brush that is able to reach places that other mops don't. You can also set cleaning schedules in the app and customize settings for every room in your home.

It has the same multi-room smart mapping feature as the S8 and is able to distinguish between laminate and carpets, with high-pile rugs. If you're looking to save time, it can even skip mopping in rooms that aren't soiled. It's a great option if you have a mix of flooring in your home and don't want to spend the extra money on Roborock. Roborock with advanced mapping features.

7. Q5 Pro

This robot is a great option if you are looking for a robot that can do both regular daily maintenance as well as touch-ups to messy water stains. It offers a broad range of features, including a self-emptying dustbin, an additional water refill dock, and adjustable settings in the app. It's surprisingly quiet and can navigate between furniture legs and socks effortlessly. It can't pick the tangled tassels of a rug and it drains its battery quicker than other models we tried.

With a price tag of less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly device that packs powerful suction and handy automation into a sleek. It didn't perform as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests for vacuuming however, it performed quite well. It has a variety of cleaning options, ranging from the quiet mode with low power which is suitable for small debris to the incredibly powerful 'Turbo mode' for carpeted areas. It can even automatically remove and reattach the mop pads without causing your carpets soaked.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum cleaner that can be used in smaller areas. It's very quiet and fast, and it is a great choice for navigating tight spots. It also does a very nice job of getting pet hair out of carpeting.

It's smaller than its rivals, but doesn't sacrifice any features. It has decent suction power and can be configured to take pictures of every object it chooses (i.e. chew toys, socks), and mark them in the app as "not found' to ensure that they won't be picked up again during future cleanings. The photos are secured and not tied to your account.

It's great for vacuuming, but not as well in mopping. It uses disposable wipes that clip onto the bottom of the bot and drags them across the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal models, which have water reservoirs and automatically wash and reattach their mophead.
