The app, which is available for iOS and Android devices allows you to control your fridge from anywhere in world, and offers numerous options for customization. It will also send you notifications when the door is left unlocked, when the freezer or fridge must be defrosted and when the filter has to be changed.

It would be great if GE PYE22PYNFS offered Precise fill which is a feature available in a handful of GE refrigerators that allows users to select the amount of cups they wish to pour out. The fridge shows a countdown to reveal how much water remains but it's not as useful as Precise fill.

Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

Created to appear as a seamless element of your kitchen Bosch's French-door refrigerator looks seamless and is an eye-catching piece. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. It also comes with a veggie compartment that keeps vegetables and fruits fresher longer and dual compressors for the best food preservation. The ice maker is one of the top we've tested, and it produces a pyramid-shaped form of ice that is low in use of water. The top shelf to the right can be folded down to make space for taller items. There's also a full-width deli drawer and an internal water dispenser.

One of the best features of this refrigerator is that its Ice maker is located in the freezer, making it simple to move the ice to the refrigerator to be used when it is required. During my experiments, I noticed that the temperatures of the refrigerator were fairly consistent in different areas of the refrigerator. Temperatures at the top and bottom of the fridge didn't stray significantly from 38 degrees, and even the middle of the fridge was within one degree of 36. This is a solid performance, but isn't quite at the top of our rankings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead.
