Pokemon GO upgrade items (My Page) and Components

A special item can be used to transform specific Pokemon. The upgrade can be obtained by spinning a PokeStop's photo disc and can be offered as a reward in Pokemon GO events.

Upgrades can be applied to weapons, armors trinkets, weapons, and gathering tools to raise their item level. The upgrade cost Flightstones and crests, depending on the kind of item.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be added to weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools in order to add attributes bonuses or other effects while the equipment being used. The equipment being upgraded must have an upgrade slot that can accept the component, and most upgrade components require the item being upgraded to be above the specified level. Some upgrade items also have special visual effects when they are added to an equipment piece. Upgrade components can be obtained through crafting, bought from karma merchants or traded with other players through the Trading Post. They can also be rescued from equipment and used as rewards.

There are different upgrade components, each of which comes with distinct bonuses. Universal upgrades, such as gems and inscriptions can be used in any type of equipment; they provide less bonuses than other types of upgrade components. Infusions can be used on non-amulet and legendary ascended items, while enhancements are able to be used on back equipment that has been ascended. Inserting an upgrade component will destroy the previous upgrade. There are exceptions for glyphs (which can only be inserted into gathering tools) and enchantments, which are able to be removed and then reinserted.

Insignias, enchantments, and upgrades with prefixes or suffixes will be displayed in the hover display of the item upgrade and they will be added to the equipment's name (e.g. a Radiant Insignia would change the name into Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item upgrader will show the number of upgrade components that have been added to it.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to add decorative and functional elements to an OpenType font. These include ligatures, fractions, or ornaments, as well as registered trademark symbols, ellipses and swashes as well as swashes. The Glyphs panel allows you to view and insert these special characters, as well as normal glyphs, such as em dashes and en dashes registered trademark symbols and glyphs that don't appear in other fonts (such as dingbats).

If you're having trouble finding a particular glyph, click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to display the panel in a variety of different views. Each view shows the Glyphs using a different font. You can narrow down the selection of glyphs by selecting an option under "Entire Font". For example, punctuation only displays punctuation glyphs. Rerolling

Rerolling involves creating a new account in order to increase your chances of getting the weapon or character you want. It is important to keep in mind that not all items in a set can be upgraded. On the other hand, some items that are BiS and have a lot of use (like Goldwrap) may benefit from being upgraded to increase their stats even more.
