Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mop are getting more powerful. They pass our cleaning tests, and can take care of a variety of floors. Find models that let you choose from a variety of modes, and use their charging docks to automatically empty and clean the stairs.

A lot of the top models work with your smartphone. Find an app that allows you to save maps, set schedules and select cleaning options.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

The gloss black and gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive mop and robot autonomous vacuum combos available. It uses lidar for navigation making maps of floors and rooms.

When I tried the S1, it was able to locate our downstairs, which has Linoleum flooring in the kitchen/dining room and bathrooms, along with carpeting of medium-pile as well as a large area rug. It was capable of driving close to walls and even over raised thresholds without issue. However, it had some difficulty getting down the stairs in one go. The S1 performed admirably in cleaning hard floors. Its mop moved smoothly on its flat side and lifted itself when it was near carpets or rug.

Also, you'll need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors regularly to prevent them from getting clogged by dust or dirt. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

Ecovacs All-in-one robot vacuum and mop is a powerful solution to your cleaning needs. The Ecovacs robot vacuum has 8700Pa of suction and comes with numerous unique features, including full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning to avoid obstacles and cleans furniture. The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does excellent job of vacuuming, and has a powerful suction that effortlessly picks up most of the debris, and even smaller bits of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are robust, however it does sometimes get hung up on the small area mats or rugs that I have in my home (which is something you can mitigate by defining a virtual boundary in the application). The mopping capabilities are quite excellent, too, with a pair of spinning mops that actually lift and scrub floors, as opposed to simply dragging the pad over it. The mops can be cleaned with heated water, and dried in the basestation as needed. The mops are also filled from the top of the base station when needed.

3. Dreame X40 ultra

Dreame launched the high-end X30 Ultra earlier this year however their latest top-of-the-line robot mop and vacuum has more impressive features. It delivers outstanding cleaning results and is easy to maintain. This makes it a worthy contender for our list of the best automatic vacuum mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a longer side brush ensure a thorough, custom-designed clean.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up large and small particles from both hard floors and carpets. It also cleaned our tests' dirtiest areas well, eliminating pet hairs that are tangled and other mess. The sweeping power is enhanced by an additional side brush that automatically moves out to tackle difficult-to-reach corners, as well as an extended mop pad that deploys alongside baseboards.

Its navigation system is intelligent it can navigate narrow spaces and climbing stairs without skipping a beat. K10 Plus is one of the quietest robovacs we've tested. It also utilizes a unique system to map your home. This allows it to get into corners and tight spaces that other vacuums are unable to reach. The K10 Plus also is able to collect more dust in a larger bin, so you don't have to empty it as frequently. It also has washable filters which reduces the cost.
