Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can increase the power of a piece and at times even add additional features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements and how many random augmentations are applied.

The elite racial Shield Razortail for instance, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption function in PvP and/or provide additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the un-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an item you have acquired like a weapon, armor or ring. This replaces the item with an identical item and comes with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. They don't maintain the original level of the item and any money wasted will not be refunded.

The surviving players can acquire tokens to reroll in many ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in chests and crates or bought at the local store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to change the attribute of an item, for example increasing the damage it can cause.

Players can roll equipment with three aspects: physical power, spell power and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage that melee and weapons, while spell power improves mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.

There are three types of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item upgrading to a higher quality. To make them, you require a higher level token to reroll. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an item that is unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be a challenge for new players. Leveling

A piece of gear can be upgraded up to five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small amount. The maximum level of an item is 19.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be inserted into armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to provide an extra effect or attribute bonus while the equipment is being used. They can be bought through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped with new ones. However, this will ruin the previous upgrade.

Requirements

When you select an upgrade component to be inserted into an item upgrader Kit (infozillon.Com) the game will show an in-game window that lists the necessary requirements. These include the type of item (either Weapon or Armor), the tier of the item as well as the Upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
