Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components

An upgrade item is a unique item that will make certain Pokemon evolve. The upgrade is obtained by spinning a PokeStop photo disc. It is sometimes offered as a prize during Pokemon GO events.

The Upgrade can also be found in armor, weapons trinkets, and gathering tools to increase their item level. The upgrade cost Flightstones and crests, based on the item type.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be added to weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools to provide attributes or other bonuses when the equipment is being used. The equipment that is upgraded must have an upgrade slot to accommodate the component, and the majority of upgrade components require the item level upgrade being upgraded to be at an amount. Some upgrade items also have special visual effects when applied to an item of equipment. Upgrade components can be obtained through crafting, bought from karma merchants or traded with other players via the Trading Post. They can also be rescued from equipment and used as rewards.

There are different upgrade components, each with various bonuses. Universal upgrades, which include gems and inscriptions, can be used in any type of equipment. They also offer smaller bonuses than other types of upgrade components. Infusions can be found in non-amulet ascended equipment and legendary equipment, while enrichments are used for some items that are ascended back. The majority of upgrade components can be replaced if they are inserted into an item, but doing so can destroy the previous upgrade. The only exceptions are glyphs which can only be used in gathering tools, as well as enchantments. Both can be removed and reinserted.

Insignias and enchantments will show their names on the hover display of the item, while upgrades with suffix and prefix will add their names to the end of the equipment name (e.g. an Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item upgrading will show the number of upgrades that have been added to it.

Glyphs

Glyphs are special characters that can be added into an OpenType font to add functional or decorative elements, such as ligatures, ornaments, fractions, swashes registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs panel lets you view and insert these special characters along with regular glyphs like em dashes and en dashes registered trademark symbols and glyphs that don't appear in other fonts (such as dingbats).

Each Glyph gives a character boost in their primary stats. It also comes with up to four secondary stats that affect the glyph's radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage increase which is multiplied once other bonuses have been applied in addition to Speed Glyphs which directly increase the hero's speed.

The Glyphs in your inventory can be activated by selecting them and then clicking the "enchant" button. This will bring up a window that displays the Glyphs available to you. Note that only the right kind of Glyph can be applied to the item you are looking for, as each weapon, jewelry or armor piece has distinct sets of Glyphs.

You can upgrade your Glyphs by completing Tree of Whisper Quests or Nightmare Dungeons. The more challenging the dungeon, the higher the amount of Glyph experience you'll earn. Once a Glyph has reached level 15 it is able to be upgraded on the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The Paragon Board's radius increases by one node for every 15 levels at which a Glyph is upgraded.

Once a Glyph has been elevated to the desired level you can activate it by selecting it and then pressing the "enchant" button. The Glyph that is created will grant its stated bonus, and also boost all other nodes in its area on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should go in areas that will benefit your build the most. This is why you should consider Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. Rare glyphs may also offer double bonuses in the event that certain conditions are met.

Click the cycle widget to alter the perspective of the Glyphs Panel. Each view shows the Glyphs in a different font. You can narrow the selection of glyphs further by selecting an option under "Entire Font": for instance, punctuation shows only punctuation glyphs; Math symbols restricts the selection to mathematical symbols.

Rerolling

Rerolling involves creating an account with a brand new username in order to increase your chances of obtaining the weapon or character you want. This can be done increase your level faster, or to obtain better loot such as an additional weapon for your character. Many players will reroll until they have the characters that they like regardless of their strength. This can be because they like the design or personality.

It is important to make clean changes every time you roll back. This means that you must verify locally that the patch is able to pass the pre-commit checks and conduct a core development test. The patch should be uploaded with a clear distinction to an issue (see What is an interdiff?) ).

Rerolls can take days or even weeks to complete, based on the luck of the draw. During this time, you should avoid any optional enemy camps to save time. It is also recommended to avoid repeating quests that you can complete later in the game. This will save you time and energy.

Another important aspect to consider when rerolling is to be sure you are aware of the upgrade system. There are a variety of ways to improve your character's strength and appearance. Upgrades, rerolling characters or upgrading weapons are all options. In addition, it's important to understand the limitations of the upgrade system.

Sets

When you upgrade an item level upgrade, it becomes an entirely new version that is superior to the previous one. This means that the weapon and armor will have a higher defense value and less strength requirements.

Upgrading can be an excellent method of bringing popular single-set items into parity with their higher-tier set counterparts. For instance upgrading Guillaume's Face Helm to Elite Spired Helm increases the defense from 217 to 321 and reduces the strength requirement and level requirement to a more attainable range.

However, it's important to note that not all set items are suitable candidates for upgrading. Some sets, like the FB Sorc Whistan's Shield spec or Naj's Puzzler staff are already Exceptional and Elite in their own right and don't require any upgrades. On the other hand, certain items that are BiS and are used frequently (like Goldwrap) may benefit from being upgraded to increase their stats even more. It may be worth it to upgrade these items.
