Greenpower Mobility - All-Energy Medium and Heavy-Duty Vehicles

Greenpower creates, manufactures and distributes the entire range of medium- and heavy-duty green power electric mobility scooter vehicles. This includes transit buses as well as school buses, as cargo buses and shuttles.

EV Star is a zero-emission vehicle with a high degree of personalization. It's also fully FTA certified and Buy America compliant. It provides a wide range of options, ADA wheelchair provisions, and cargo delivery setups.

GreenPower Motor Company produces a full suite of high-floor and low-floor all-electric heavy-duty and medium-duty vehicles. The EV Star Cab & Chassis is their flagship model, and can be adapted to meet a variety of applications. The platform's design philosophy of clean sheets allows the best battery pack placement and lower center of gravity, resulting in better payload to range ratios.

The EV Star REEFERX is designed to serve mid-to-last mile refrigerated delivery and catering applications. The class 4 refrigerated trucks have a single interior wall structure and higher insulation than conventional trucks, enable seamless sanitation and better temperature control. They also have a longer life span. The EV Star REEFERX offers superior cargo capacity and a payload that is industry-leading to allow for zero emission goods or passenger transportation.

GreenPower has partnered with Perrone Robotics to up-fit the EV Star with their TONY (To Navigate You) autonomous vehicle system. This will allow fleets to quickly transition to autonomous vehicles. The AV Star is also capable of wireless charging up to 75 kW.

We had the opportunity to test the EV9 for several hours on a local freeway and found it to be easy to drive and comfortable for long distances. The EV9 can be used to block road noise and wind while driving on the highway. It is smooth on ruts and humps. The acceleration is extremely quick, and the car comes with adjustable regenerative braking to enable "one pedal driving" by lifting the accelerator.

The EV9 has a great range and can be fully recharged within three hours at home, or with any commercial charger.
