WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades provide a guaranteed boost to specific stats. Each upgrade increases item level Upgrade level by 3. A random substat is also boosted alongside every upgrade.

Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless the item upgrade has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a large variance in stats (like Eth Titan weapons). The latter see less value from upgrading due to the requirement to roll to get a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by transferring the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of armor or weapon. However, the item upgrading used for the upgrade will remain in use for a long time and can't be used again. Upgrades can also be applied to enchantments.
