Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can sometimes increase the stats of a piece of gear and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements and how many random augmentations are applied.

For example, the elite shield of racial violence Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to add additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the un-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens permit you to roll a purchased item such as an armor, weapon or ring. This swaps the current item for a different one similar item, with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. However, they don't keep the same level as the original item and any resources wasted won't be compensated for.

The survivors can get tokens to reroll in many ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in crates and chests or bought from the store for 150k each.
