Anna found that it was sturdy and secure after being affixed to her bed. The legs clicked into place and the zippers were secure to ensure safety. This is one of Chicco’s more expensive alternatives. It does have many amazing features. It can be used as either a side-sleeper or a standalone crib that is suitable for babies from birth to six months. It features a brand new mechanism to open and close the side panel. It's simple to use even with one hand. It's also more adjustable than the previous model, with 11 different height settings and retractable legs for a secure fit underneath any bed.

Our testers were impressed by the ease of use offered by the side panel, which can be moved upwards and down with a single push of a button. This was a huge benefit during night time feeds as it meant that they could easily reach inside and take their baby away without disturbing them up.

The side panel can be removed on its own however, it's not recommended since it increases the chance of your baby falling out of the cot. The safety locking system ensures that the side panel will stay down if it is properly attached to the mattress of the parent. This is an excellent feature to have for peace mind, particularly when you're breastfeeding and need frequent feedings at night.

The Chicco Next2Me Magic is designed to work with any bed, including divan bases and beds with drawers thanks to the telescopic legs. It comes with a tilting function for babies with reflux, as well as a rocking function to help calm them after a feeding. It's also very large and has excellent ventilation thanks to its mesh sides.
